remember that since the most important thing to most furries is getting attention, they see blocking/ignoring as being one of the cruelest things that you can possibly do to someone, because it deprives the person getting blocked/ignored of attention

this is why some furries are weirdly hesitant about blocking--they see it like putting someone's head under the guillotine rather than just blocking. And on the other side, that's why some furries are so bloodthirsty about blocking as many people as possible even if they aren't personally annoying them. It can be a bit of a revenge power trip.

I'm never getting back the minutes of my life I wasted reading those. They were boring and just a bunch of mods saying they banned some pedo and wanted to shut down the porn section in case underaged users were getting in there, neither of which are bad moves. I'd been expecting something far more entertaining.

Uhhhh reading the files, it sounds like a person went into an nsfw channel on discord by saying they were 18+, then later revealing they were 14. There was also a person who posted pedo (unsure if real or fictional? Distinction is legality in different places depending on where discord members live, but I couldn't tell you the details). Unless I'm mistaken- it's possible the 14 year old did nsfw rp and it is thus pedo shit. The posts are vague- they reference the incident, but do not describe it well.

Then the server owner (I think?) dishonored wolf got on and basically told the mods to lock the 18 channels and kick anyone who wasn't 18 (not sure why that wasn't a thing in the first place, or maybe it was) and to fuck any users or mods who got pissy about it. Said he didn't want pedo shit tied to his name or to his server.

There is also a post from someone who doesn't appear elsewhere in the server saying the owner was screwed because the mods didn't report the shit, but according to later posts, the mods reported it to the fbi at least 5 times, which makes me think it was actual pedo shit and not fucked up drawings.

That's my synopsis, anyhow.


EDIT Pizza Possum: I think you're misreading the details, but thank you for providing the posts that lead to you making the post. It does my heart a warm fuzzy to see people providing evidence so people can draw their own conclusions and think for themselves.

That's something that happens far more often than you think in furry groups, and it's why so many of them have a 18+ rule with some of the groups using over the top measures to try to enforce it. Furthermore, just about any furry group on Telegram will react to underage posters with instant bans.

There are a LOT of underage furries who lie about their age in an attempt to get yiff commissions, to roleplay with more people, and in some cases even sending nudes of themselves to others. It's fucked up.

To clarify on this, Twitter has put forth a new automated system that locks down accounts that are suspected of being underage or viewing content that isn't intended for underage users, I think it's rolled in with their automated bot removal system. Like most of Twitter's automated features, it's really fucking buggy and is leading to a lot of accounts getting locked for no discernible reason.

You'd actually be surprised at the shit companies can get into for pulling shit like this, something similar occurred with Jet Creations within the pooltoy furries group where they made a custom float for a customer based on a character they didn't own. Which in turn got Jet Creations pissed enough to tell other furries trying to get custom floats will likely be told to fuck off.
