🐮 Lolcow Russell Greer / Mr. Green / Russell Greee / Russle / Brothel Prince / @ just_some_dude_named_russell29 / A Safer Nevada PAC - Swift-Obsessed Sex Pest, Convicted of E-Stalking, "Eggshell Skull Plaintiff" Pro Se Litigant, Homeless, aspiring brothel owner

It's unlikely this will hit court if the judge reads it, lol, but I want to emphasize that a crowd of Internet stalkers showing up at Greer's trial will make him look less crazy.
It's not like people would be there holding a "shitlips" neon sign. Courts have tons of people sitting in and observing/learning cases. For all they know they could be there waiting for the next case, not his. At least that's how it is for my local court. Not sure Federal.

AFAICT, Russ did not submit a form summons for the Clerk of Court to sign and return to him. This is important because he will not get a summons to serve on Taytay until he either (1) pays the filing fee; or (2) gets it waived. No summons = no lawsuit. So Russell is in limbo right now. He has an open federal case file, but he can't actually make the case move forward or make Taytay do anything like answer the complaint or move to dismiss until the court reviews his fee waiver and approves it.
So he did it to of course get her attention as #1 goal yet failed to do the one thing that would raise the flag for her people to notice. He is exceptional :story:

Hopefully this is not the case because I would dearly love to see this play out but I can easily imagine a scenario where he purposefully leaves the lawsuit in limbo for months just so he can talk to strangers about his "pending litigation" against Taylor.

What would be funny if some up and coming attorney in Tennessee offered to represent Taylor pro bono because of the good press they'd get for defending a popular music star against a clearly mentally unbalanced person. Taylor has been in the news because she's had several people do horrible things because of their delusions regarding her. I really hope this is stunt that results in real and severe consequences for Russ's behavior. He's escalating, and given how divorced from reality he is (as evidenced by his own words), I would not put it past him to do something violent to get Taylor's attention. John Hinkley Jr. shot President Reagan to get Jodie Fosters' attention, so the possibility is not without precedent.

For big or meaningful cases, yes. For something on Greer's level, no. You would literally be the only person in attendance.

If you want proof of this, go look at the umpteen Chris Chan court hearings - at one point, his attorney used a random Kiwi observer in the courtroom as proof of ongoing stalking and harrassment.

It's a stupid idea. Go to the beach instead.

w h o c a r e s if it lends credence to his case? The goal is to find and discuss information about lolcows, not to concern ourselves with if we're helping them or not.

It's not uncommon for a case to only have involved parties in attendance, but it's also not weird for random people to be observing, especially more newsworthy cases which someone suing Taylor Swift is (hence why Russell's original small claims suit received local media attention). Court hearings are usually open to the public and anyone can observe.

Also, he is going to be posting on his intentionally public fb page a to-the-minute countdown if he gets a court date. with almost the excitement as he does when he save up his lunch money for a "date" with a hooker.

There are three law schools and a half dozen paralegal programs in Nashville. Students sit in courtrooms to fulfill assignments and to see how it looks in real life. If a famous name is attached or it looks like someone is going to bring the crazy, people will be there for the show.

Good stuff! I wonder.....could this possibly be the reason why his 'brothels law challenge' lawsuit appears to be stuck in limbo, with no action from the assigned judge?

I wouldn't put it past Russ to know this perfectly well, and it suits his ego to have this case 'pending' in court so he can use it to....would this be virtue signalling? The legalsperg version? Anyway, could someone familiar with the US federal court process maybe take a look and see if there's anything like this holding up his other lolsuit?

Wait, what? I'm not sure I remember anything about him bugging any actors.

Regardless, I'm sure Gotham misses him.

I don't think that's what has happened because there's been back and forth motion practice and orders from the judge that the parties provide supplemental briefing. The parties have been active in the brothel case even if they judge hasn't made a decision yet. Federal court in particular moves pretty damn slowly.

Makes sense, thanks. I really haven't looked into the brothel case much, @talk talk talk 's post just triggered the thought in me, cos I REALLY wouldn't put it past Russ at all.

I’m just hoping that this goes to trial, and Russell is late to court again because he forgot Nashville is in a different time zone than Utah.

Gotham could use him to make a new original character in the show though

"Grussel Reer was a man born with a rare genetic defect that left his face frozen since birth. This deformity caused his life and sanity to devolve over the years on the streets of Gotham. Till one day he encountered a man who would soon become The Joker. "Why the stiff face lips? Didn't your mom tell you not to make stupid faces or it'd get stuck like that"

It has a location outside Salt Lake City and the girls wear strippers clothes so yeah he's probably banned. He left his Instagram on the check he tipped 2% on and the server never contacted him! What the frick?

I'm sorry if it has already been posted, but the youtube lawyer that is going through the Maddox suit have also done a video talking about the Greer lawsuit.
Posted above if anyone is interested.
I'm also considering creating a thread in Lolcow LLP as soon as I have gotten the PDF and some more information about the actual lawsuit.
That subforum needs some love, but maybe it is better to keep Russ in this thread?
