Tattoos [9 Apr 18] Horribly Infected Tattoo

It's the bits that look yellow (that I've circled in red) that are super fucked up.
White ink is relatively well known for the worst reactions, but usually they're raised and they don't look like your skin has peeled away to reveal the fat underneath.
The blue (circled in black) is almost normal, if not a bit discoloured (due to poor aftercare), but that'll be fine, and the white bit should look like that. Scabby but not missing chunks.
I'd put it down to a combination of a reaction to ink and Phil still doesn't give a fuck about proper aftercare, despite the fact he's riddled in scribbles.

You'd think somebody having a dangerous yet elective surgery in about six weeks would know better than to get something that could become infected and ruin their entire surgery, and yet here we are, nestled in the den of lies.
That yellow looks like adipose tissue, it's already passed the hypodermis. Who knew pigskin was so thin?

Regardless of what it actually is, it is something that would drive a normal person to see a doctor.
How come an ER "frequent flyer" like Phil did nothing this time?

According to his tattoo record and plans, the "Background Trans Flag - Behind “Clitoral Mass: † UNDER CONSTRUCTION / NOT COMPLETED" was done on 4 April 2018 (i.e. a week ago)

(Dated 10 April 2018 but it's an old photo)

So he attributes the fuck-up state to "slow healing". *sigh*
Did this dude seriously get a fallopian tube tattoo? :story:

You don't know philthy do you. As long as it's on his body, no matter how re-tarded or idiotic it looks, as long as he drew the art, Phil thinks he has the best tattoos in the world, even if they're gangrene.

So all we need to do is photoshop "I Love Kiwi Farms" on his body and we're golden, then? Preferably in a spot that's pretty hard for him to actually check on his body? Bonus points if it's in Spanish.

Is that white part of the tattoo gonna be visible at all when those chunks of skin grow back?

So all we need to do is photoshop "I Love Kiwi Farms" on his body and we're golden, then? Preferably in a spot that's pretty hard for him to actually check on his body? Bonus points if it's in Spanish.
that sounds like an amazing idea

Does he really have to? His entire adult life has been an exercise in being obsessed with the farms.

Holy shit.
The art was bad enough, but this is horrifying. If I had Facebook I’d post this on the shops page to wan people that this is what happens when you prioritize your politics over your quality.
Even if the infection turns out to be one hundred percent Phil’s fault, anyone with half a functioning brain would send him out the door with a temporary piece rather than jamming any needles into that unwashed mass.

To me it looks like a combo of improper after-care, likely a sunburn, and an allergic reaction.

He may have put something he should not have on it. It's not uncommon for some medical items, like neosporin, medical tape, and latex gloves to cause allergic contact dermatitis blistering on the skin, which in turn fills with fluid and starts to burst and peel after a few days.

Whoever did this tattoo needs to be looked in to. Phil's tattoos are shit, but most of the time it's because of him designing it and not the tattoo artist. This seems to be a mix of Phil's inability to produce anything decent and the tattooer not being able to clean his tools.

ETA: It's not just Phil being unable to do proper post-treatment (which is obvious given his gross lifestyle), rather something wrong with the initial tattoo. Most post-treatment tattoos gets a lot of swelling if not cared for properly. This looks like negligence on both parties.

The section to the right away from the central mass is far more telling.
Besides the scabs you can see clear evidence of infection, spots and bleeding

It actually looks like the mark of nurgle

Part of me half expects him to be a vector for the plaque of unbelief. If he was in the 40k universe, he would end up worshipping or serving Nurgle considering how hygienic he is. It would also explain a lot.

My guess is that Phil uses this as an excuse to go to the doctor. Gets himself some pictures of him in the hospital; maybe in a gown or on the bed. Uses those pictures as proof of being in the hospital when it's time for his special surgery.

Corrected it for you, by His Glorious name!

Allerigc derm usually doesn't cause a complete loss of the epidermis. We're seeing the subcutaneous fat, so it's most likely a bacterial infection (99.9% it's MRSA). He really needs to get that shit taken care of. Recent staph infections can be grounds to postpone his "surgery" next month.

Heh it looks like someone did a shitty spray-can paint job on some cheap homemade pottery and it's all peeling off. Which isn't that far from reality I guess.

"looks like a bit of MRSA" is something reasonably to say if it's in a petri dish but when it's eating into someone's flesh I feel like it deserves a different turn of phrase

Although when I think about it... MRSA might be resistant to antibiotics but I'm not sure it can survive with Phil as an ecosystem for very long.
