Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

All news media is about these days, finding enough content to support an already established narrative, not about finding answers or looking for the truth. How many standard gun debate narrative articles came out after the latest shooting? How many articles attempted to look beyond the gun debate to find out whats causing kids to get to the point where they shoot up schools? Probably none.

No one is looking for a nuanced or complex viewpoint, they want to be told what side they are on, which team to cheer for. You either love guns or hate guns. You either want Nazi Russians to take over America, or not.

I agree for the most part, but the school shooting debacle is possibly the worst example to pick considering the media themselves are partially culpable in the rise of mass shootings and MSM channels will never ever ever talk about that aspect of the situation, which is why they always pivot over to gun control and thoughts & prayers when another one happens.

Cosplaying as Hillary Clinton is now an unforgivable crime, apparently. Are we really going to have to hear this intentionally-misinformed, smug-faced posturing for the next seven years? Can you please kill me now?

If you thinks thats bad I got something even "better" for you.
Today Mitt Romney started his Senate run. Which means that, barring some Roy Moore tier catastrophe, this time next year Senator Romney will have been a thing for about a month and a half.
And can you guess how the media is reacting? If you guessed the same people who tore Mitt a new asshole in 2012 are now singing his praises because Fuck Drumpf...You're right!
Basically it's all some variation of the following phrases.
"Mitt Romney is the savior of the GOP!" "Mitt Romney will bring the Republican Party back into the Light" Mitt Romney is set to offer a refreshing Conservative contrast to Trumps Dark Populism" Et Cetera
As someone who remembers 2012 and how Mitt Romney was Satan reborn back then...Reading that drivel made me want to fucking vomit.

I think I was innoculated to that after the whiplash-level headwhip from when McCain went from The Literal AntiChrist when he was running against Obama to He A Good Boy Again the next time he fucked over his own party afterwards.

They're all Hell-bent on continuing the Russian Collusion story until we're all going to have to hear them ramble about it in the retirement homes fifty years from now, so I'm going to hop ship and again talk about the Flynn case, since the media has again chosen to ignore it. While they were all running around with their hair on fire screaming about Tetris and the Motherland, there was another advancement in the USA VS Flynn case, today. Judge Sullivan--the replacement for the forcibly-recused Contreras-- submitted a revised entry to an earlier order that requires the government to produce any evidence in its possession that is exculpatory towards Flynn.

The original order cited prior case law that requires the government to turn over all evidence pertaining to the case. This is a pretty standard footnote, it's nothing to be excited about. However, the revised footnote reads very differently, and starts citing some particularly interesting cases, not the least of which being Brady v. Maryland (1963), referring to the Brady Disclosure. This new footnote also includes a case law that states that the Supreme Court would find a violation of due process if the prosecutors have factual evidence of a defendant’s (Flynn's) innocence, but fail to disclose it prior to Flynn entering the plea.

In all the huff and fury going on in the news today, did you happen to catch a quick glimpse of that article the Daily Caller put out, saying that Michael Flynn should withdraw his guilty plea? Yeah, there's a good reason that they'll hope he does that. A really, really good reason. I'm not too certain off the top of my head who on the Farms is particularly well-versed in law, but I know of at least one person who could offer an interesting answer to an interesting question:

Hey @AnOminous, what would you say would happen to a Judge and a prosecution that intentionally withheld exculpatory evidence from a defendant both prior to allowing them to enter a guilty plea, and then motioning to prosecute them on that guilty plea whilst still withholding that evidence, particularly from a judge like Sullivan who has a known history of holding federal prosecutors in contempt if they're knowingly failing to disclose evidence?

Would you say they're likely to soon be on the receiving end of some particularly rigorous coitus?

The media plays off his actions as a bumbling exceptional individual, but suddenly he’s a genius mastermind when it comes to hiding secret relationships?

Reminds me of the "Bush did 9/11!" people who repeatedly called Bush an idiot because of dumb things he did and said but simultaneously believe he managed to orchestrate a terrorist attack that killed 3,000 people so he could enact police state legislation and become a dictator, without any of this getting out.

McCain, Romney, Bush'43 the list goes on. It would seem that the only requirement to be a "Good Conservative" in the eyes of Liberals is to be a useful cudgel against other Conservatives.

Pretty much. The only good conservative is an anti-Republican conservative, and only so long as they're not opposing a Democrat.

People in the comments are getting salty because of a handshake in this video. I have no idea what they're ranting about this time because it doesn't play on my Twitter.

That video also made Judd Apatow say this:

Hmm, who sounds more empathetic and human here Judd? The guy at the hospital trying to comfort the victims of a tragedy, or some whiny faggot on the internet using those same victims as an instrument to beat his opponents over the head with?

If someone wants to tweet that to that blue checkmark retard, go ahead. Just substitute "faggot" with "bitch."

Even at nicer moments like this they still have to whine. Holy shit, doesn't it get tiresome getting butthurt 24/7? Go back to making mediocre movies, Judd.
What do they even do to help victims of tragedies like this? Writing some preachy tweet or virtue signalling. Go do something worthwhile, like donating your money to the people who were hurt by this. Do something worthwhile instead of ranting. Jeez.

I wonder. Who is the more empathic and human figure here? The President visiting the victims and trying to offer comfort? Or the Actor metaphorically walking on corpses to scream at said President?

President: *doesnt give tearful speech about the horrors of guns and so on*
Blue Checkmarks: REEEE WHY DOES THIS MONSTER DO NOTHING! HE HAS NO HUMAN EMOTIONS!
President: *goes to the hospital visiting the victims personally*

Stay classy twitter.

I'm noticing an unsettling trend looking at these news reports of Trump visiting the victims in the hospital. This particular section from CNN sticks out that I think sums up everything:

CNN powiedział(a):
When he did emerge in the Diplomatic Room, Trump delivered a somber statement that did not directly address the issue of firearms. Instead he spoke to children, who he said may be feeling "scared."

"I want you to know that you are never alone and you never will be," Trump said. "You have people who care about you, who love you and who will do anything at all to protect you."

People are getting fucking buttmad that the president chose to praise hard-working doctors and give words of comfort to scared children instead of addressing guns. Holy shit.
