Like, seriously- most gun-control proponents are sane enough to realize that you have to have the police armed until everyone else is disarmed, because THE WHOLE FUCKING POINT IS THAT GUNS ARE DANGEROUS.
But Jake apparently thinks that guns are at once dangerous enough to ban completely but harmless enough that some "SWAT" team with, I dunno, a giant net? can capture armed suspects ready to fight to the death. As if cops would have any interest in trying that, all of which being gun owners themselves.
He always manages to shine with stupidity about things he pretends to know about.
