Annnnd here we go.

Right off the bat, I can tell Phil's gonna be disappointed. He's expecting detractors to turn up en masse, because of his history with Metal Gear Solid. Given how things are now, I'm pretty sure this isn't going to be the case. The games are rarely a factor in drama and antics nowadays. Nobody cares if he fails at MGS2/MGS3 anymore. All it's going to be another run-through of two games he fucked up, but with extra help and no stupidity on the levels of "How do I use rations?", etc.

Anybody that wants to see it are welcome to, but if it's anything like MGS1, it's going to be corny as fuck and consist of nothing but Phil playing it up for the detractors/cringe-worthy shit.

Phil has done something much worse than any of his past misdeeds: He's become boring. When was the last actually funny turn of events? his fake girlfriend? The taxes? When was the last time phil did something stupid and funny in a game? People barely even make TIHYDPs anymore. The fact this thread has managed to continue to 2000 pages baffles me. Phil used to be my favorite lolcow, and now he's even ruined that.

His actual drama outside of playing games became funny instead. When was the turning point? I think when he started to live stream full time. When he was getting more and more help from the chat. till he became just fully dependent on it.

You’re talking about Phil’s “paying and non-paying” fans. They act, do and say according to a man they will never meet in person. Hell, they act like former FEMDOM actors looking for a way back in the circle jerk. Phil hides behind the walls of his home, both literally and digitally. His fans will always pander to his whims and wishes. Heaven forbids Phil actually speaks with an adult or has to engage adult males in public. He’s a social dwarf and his fans are the midgets sidekicks beside him.

MGS3 was a mess partially because he obviously got tipped off about a fight and changed his playstyle out of fear of getting reamed from it. MGS1 is gonna look like a masterpiece compared to these redemption runs, because at least back then he was less bitter and didn't clog commentary with shout-outs.
