No shit. Twitch streaming and social media careerist in general can be seen as pan handlers. While there are some that do offer entertainment and "work", which can be defined as editing or researching a topic for a video, a large portion of them use drama to elicit monies from viewers. The drama almost always being, especially in DSPs case, taken at face value with no supporting evidence, not even a simple letter.

Pretty sure he jettisoned dignity in place of free cash many moons ago. And to be fair, dignity serves no purpose if you just bunker down in your house 99% of the time, anyway. Dude has no real friends (LOL if BSV and their ilk see themselves as Phil's friends), a family that seems to be perfectly content with having minimal contact with him, and is content to get by with escorts - that is a guy that can get by sans dignity, assuming he's able to stomach feelings of loneliness and worthlessness (though, granted, gin helps).

That bum on the corner is better than Phil, in that the former is putting himself and his actual misery out there for people to see him in real life, instead of lying about taxes just so he can pay his escort for a GFE.

That's like asking most North Koreans to speak ill of any of the Kims. The brainwashing and the threat of being banned is enough to get them to toe Phil's imaginary line.

Absolutely. Every stream he does is a charity fraud. Hell he has reached goals on Patreon and failed to live up to them. That's grounds for termination but they don't do anything.

He is such a fraud, when he does a giveaway (or when he did giveaways, fat slob won't even consider them now), he gave away empty game cases.

No its not. Patreon doesn't work like that. Patreon does not suspend or act on creators who don't fulfill rewards. They don't issue refunds either except for extreme circumstances. It's a platform and the agreement is technically between the supporter and the creator.

But he did ask for people to donate to help him pay off his taxes which he still hasn't provided a concrete amount that he owes. I'm more or less specifically referring to his recent reason for having people donate to him. He's also pushing the notion that he will 'lose his house' if people don't donate to him.

Yes agreed, but Twitch's terms and conditions are specific to the usage of Bits and don't really apply to Tips + Patreon pledges.
It'd be up to them at the end of the day, but if you go through the terms and conditions that is the way it reads.

Don't get me wrong, it absolutely bewilders me that Twitch allows this shit or doesn't reach out to him to make him prove what he's saying. Anyway, I don't think they react to reports or emails, I think they only really react to major media coverage which will probably happen at some point if DSP keeps pushing the boundaries.

I understand that. Was just curious after I stumbled upon a few sites that said charity fraud can be reported and viewed as criminal activity in some cases

Only if he said it was a "charity". He repeatedly said "this is not a charity" to make it clear.

Probably to add to the confusion is that Twitch is a relatively new service on the internet (7 years old, but when you actually look at exponential growth its only fairly recent). So all of these situations that come up with stuff like people drinking excessively, doing fundraisers for their taxes, titty streamers, people doing prank calls, copyright etc require a bit of thought with rules and how to enforce them.

They definitely have an interest in keeping their service reputable, but there are many elements of their terms and conditions which indicate they don't really care about Patreon/Tips and just allow them be (such as not being allowed to refer to Bits as any dollar amount or being unable to exchange them etc).

A good example is YouTube/Google and the demonetization fiasco. The current narrative is that Google is an evil company because of it, when in reality it was actually a result of their advertisers getting cranky.

If Twitch suddenly wakes up and starts pulling out people's "livelihoods" arbitrarily then they'll be the next "evil company".

Remember when lurking on "detractor" websites was bannable offence in eyes of Phil? These guys can cry and yell "fake" for all its worth but the fact they're here daily, checking on it, shows me they have doubts about Phil and there's perhaps suspicion that there may be some truth to the claims. Otherwise why even bother coming here repeatedly to bitch about it?

AMEN! They can deny all they want but keep throwing facts at them and it you can tell it is piling up and festering inside their heads.

-No proof he has a GF
- No proof of his tax situation
- refuses to show his bills and how much he makes
- every month is a new emergency requiring more money yet they overlook that he has 2 homes, a brand new car, pays for flights for some woman, buys expensive headsets and every new game released.
- ignores patreon goals if he hits them
- Gives nothing back to his supporters unless you count empty game cases which he hasn't even done in forever
- no proof he wasn't with an escort.
- continually contradicts himself with each new monetary emergency.
- is shit at video games

Seriously should I go on or are the DSP dickriders starting to understand that he lies about everything without ever showing an ounce of proof otherwise? I'd like one of them to even argue one of these points and make it intelligent.
