It's the best bet. Considering how many "troll" accounts went on him after he found out about the thread, it wouldn't surprise me that someone thought it would be a good idea to link him to the thread.

What confuses me is why he's giving a link to the thread that was shortened with that google link feature or whatever the fuck it is. I don't see why that's necessary, so it was probably sent to him in that form for whatever apparent reason.
 
He's also changed his Youtube to RedStarMaster7, what ever good that's gonna do him, all the links still redirect regardless of name change.

I'm going to also bet that most of the bullying occurred in elementary/junior high school- where most people usually experience bullying for the first time in their life.

If this is the result of bullying from school mates, then I'd hate to see how he would deal with fame in general.
