Yeah, but with Republicans, it'll be minor wave of salt that'll crest quickly. The average Republican voter didn't invest too much emotion in him. If Democrats lose, it'll be a tidal wave of salt that won't cease for months. They've been bitching for months, and if all their bloviating proved ineffective, they'll really go nanners.
Plus in my opinion, Republican salt tends to be pretty low hanging fruit in terms of it being pretty common and expected. The salty reaction to Trump being elected was a lot more interesting than when Obama getting elected.

Some Conservatives VOTED for Obama on account of McCain being weak, especially after his initial response to the Financial Crisis of 2008. Richard Spencer admitted he voted for Obama just to see how things would turn out. If anything, people like Dicky Boy figured Obama's Presidency would present the perfect opportunity to get right-wingers talking about race again and build a platform based on that.

The most salt of any significance will be from us sad we lost the opportunity to indulge in Progressive suffering.

Honestly, may I actually say something here for a very hot minute? It's going to be a wee bit autistic.

In truth, I'm glad he didn't win namely just because of his anti-LGBTQ rhetoric-- then again, that's Alabama for you lol. I don't give a shit with the pedophile allegations-- I could joke about that all night. My main beef was his constant screaming the gays will end the world, and using churches as a stage for politics. I do have a firm belief of separation of church and state as an independent. But again, that's Alabama for you: they love their kid-sisters and church. Nevertheless, as a gay man myself I can't turn blind ear or eye to something like that, and that would of been a thing that would of made the salt from democrats taste a little iffy for me.

...beyond that Autism, I am seriously surprise Alabama went democratic; I was expecting Moore to win and enjoy the salt that would've overflowed. But... guess we'll have to do with some salt from the half who voted for Moore instead.
