Shhh! Don't tell any one but Pratt is actually a Right/Libertarian 2nd Amendment supporter. But he is primarily fairly low key about politics being the type of actor who feels Nobody Should Be Asking Actors For Political Leadership or Comentary
But it's INHERENTLY POLITICAL like literally everything in the universe from sandwiches to bowel movements to bees and every other topic you can think of. "Apolitical"/"Non-political" is a meme by the alt-right and people who casually support every injustice in the word.

This does NOT look like Bob's body...

Did he Photoshop his head onto the top of a GQ model? Hell, even Brad Jones looks fatter than him in that Patreon photo. And who is douchey enough to wear a button-up dress shirt with no tie under a blazer? A turtleneck might make you look like a Bond villain henchman, but at least it looks a lot more dignified than a button up shirt with no tie...

You don't really need to be in good standing to dunk on The Game Awards, but Bob can't even manage that.

Kojima isn't some B-movie director. Sure his games have their sillier moments, but at it's core Metal Gear are anti war games that don't pull it's punches at showing how brutal war can be. Graphic torture scenes and child soilders are common place and are treated seriously, the protagonists aren't some B-movie action heroes they are usually a vulnerable man who has seen some serious shit.

Demeaning Kojima like that is exactly what I would expect from a guy who has dreams about Miyamoto blessing him to be his champion in the fight against dude bro games though. If Snake didn't appear in smash brothers he would be even more dismissive of his series because it had the audacity to have guns.

Hey Bob, basic math time. 2.9% + .35 of 1 dollar is not "double the amount". Let's just round it off, 3% of a dollar is 3 cents, meaning that a $1 donation will cost the donor $1.38. WOW! 38 cents more!

Let's crank it up to the $5 donation that gets you a mention or a thank you most of the time. 3% of that 5 dollars is 15 cents, so it's a total cost of $5.50. Now let's do 10 dollars, total cost is 10.65. At what point does the service charge equal a whole, extra dollar? 22 dollars, at which point the service charge is a bank-breaking $1.01.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. So much money! Let me clean out my fucking couch cushions, I'll get the change for your goddamn service charge. It's cheaper then paying for my fucking sales tax of 8%!

Basically, anyone whining about how this service charge is "so much money" and it's "unfair to the patrons!" is a stupid fucking cunt.

May God have mercy on my soul, because I'm actually going to agree with Bob here, at least partially.
Obviously it's not "unfair", Patreon can set whatever policy they want and people ultimately have to deal, but Bob is 100% right that this is going to drive people away from giving a little money to a lot of different Patreons.
I give (Or used to give) 1-2 dollars to more than 2 dozen different Patreons, mostly small artists and stuff, and this change has prompted me to go through my pledges and prune a full third of them. A 40% increase adds up and I only have so much in my budget for what is essentially charity for artists I like.

the guy who said "fuck the oscars" is the swedish film director Josef Fares. He has made numerous films such as Jalla!Jalla! and Kopps before he moved into the video game industry. I think if there is anyone who has the right to talk shit about the oscars, then it is Fares.

That.....doesn't sound like Bob's describing Onslaught at all. I imagine Bob trying to explain capeshit plots is something that you somehow walk away knowing less.

I barely know what the fuck he's talking about with "re-writing of alternate realities" and I read Onslaught. Is he referring to the fake world Franklin Richards was holding the F4 and Avengers characters in after fighting Onslaught? The fuck was the "re-writing"? The fuck are the "realities" he's talking about?
I *think* he is describing the Heroes Reborn reboot.

But...but...but...Quiet.

Bob has no grasp on the idea that mainstream directors get inherently more credit than the more "artsy" ones. It's his fault he doesn't know who Lorne Lanning is, for example, who gets about as much recognition as Cronenberg does in his own industry (which, outside of horror circles, isn't a lot).

Sperging about Bitcoin.

Bob Chipman Fails at automation, does this dude not realize that cheap labour wont be substituted for automation and majority of engineers who will make and develop those robots hypothetically are white males for the most part

We are far from automation in the 1st place its just not economically viable.

I will agree that multiple small donations is where my counter argunent falls apart. @Jaimas used Nora Reed and five 1 dollar donations as part of his example on circular donations, with this change that's an extra $1.90 and that's just at 5 donations. You said you had two dozen, that's a minimum of about 8 and a half right there which is not insignificant.

I agree that this move punishes small donations to a lot of creators, which does suck.

Why does Bobby hate Bitcoin? Isn't Bitcoin designed to be a global currency that is immune to the manipulation of governments that, shudder, are voted into existence by obsolete people with jerbs? And isn't it rumored that Bitcoin was invented by a pee o'sea? Why does he hate Superior Future?

If some pee o'sea MtF started a new crypto and called it GirlPwrCoin, would Bobby get on the ground floor?

If carbon emission is what he cares about, how about he stops playing video games?

There is far more to being a process operator than "pulling levers", something he'd know if he is industrial stereotypes weren't still in the 1930's as has been previously seen.

But no, all the obsolete jerbs are buff white man hauling huge loads of bricks on their shoulders, or lifting boxes or working in some sweat box of a steel mill. No wonder Bob is jealous hates them so much.

In theory, Bob should like bitcoin. However a lot of the loudest supporters of bitcoin are the kind of people who watch InfoWars unironicaly.

If Brianna Wu or Zoe Quinn tweeted this very second about the virtues of buying Bitcoin, within the hour Bob would be talking about how great he thinks bitcoin is.

That's what's so funny about Bob. If took all his rantings about "moving forward" and built a currency from scrap based on it, it would be very much like bitcoin. Yet he hates it. It makes you wonder if he even knows what he wants.

Bob has no real political convictions. He at best has a very basic understand of politics, and even less of an understanding of his own.
