Judging from the salt, this must be almost as serious as when Trump selfishly stole an extra scoop of ice cream from the taxpayers.

The jist of why rational people (mostly just kiwis at this point amazingly) are upset is the long term effects of the bill. Tax rates for those who make under 75K go down temporarily, but go up significantly by 2027. Those who make between 20-30K will see a 25% tax rate increase by 2027 (assuming this is not changed by a later administration, but given how long the old tax rules stood up, this is an unknown). This is all happening while those who make more then 75K will see a tax cut, as well as businesses. All of this is done while adding $1 trillion to the deficit. Can someone explain to me what the tax reform is even about?, what is getting everyone salty besides it being a Trump policy?
It is amazing that such a requirement wasnt already in place, if those numbers are true.Wyświetl załącznik 325283 If there's any good that comes from this tax bill
Is this the whole "You gotta pay 400 bux if you don't have insurance" thing?reduces the tax penalty for not getting insurance through the ACA to $0, which will somehow result in 13 million people loosing insurance (this is in another up-in-the-air rider added at the last minute).
Is this the whole "You gotta pay 400 bux if you don't have insurance" thing?
I'm confused by this complaint. Obama added $6.5 big-Ts to the debt (which is $200B more than every president before him) in 8 years.
The problem is when people throw around arbitrary big numbers like that it's really hard to gauge what their actual impact will be, but it doesn't stop dummies from waving it around like it proves their point.
1600/month for a studio apartment so you can have the luxury of living in Williamsburg
That sweet, sweet Paetron tugboatDo Twitter sjws even pay taxes? I was under the impression most of them live with their parents or collect benefits for sadbrains.
How does thi effect them?
The worst thing they've said during all this (to me at least) is that when someone wrote traditional cursive/doctor writing and they say it's just scribbles.

If hipster slacktivist SJWs don't want to be hurt by Pmurt's eeeeeeeeeevil tax plan, here's an idea:
Instead of whining and virtue signaling on twitter, maybe go and get a degree in a STEM or other in demand field (no one is forcing you to get a Masters in Women's Studies, Gender Theory or Community Organizing), move to an affordable area (no one is forcing you to pay 1600/month for a studio apartment so you can have the luxury of living in Williamsburg), get a high paying job even if it doesn't "fulfill your soul" (no one is forcing you to "work" at an unpaid internship advocating for Queer Syrian Refugees or whatever; there is dignity in being a nurse, working construction, etc.!) and buy affordable stuff (no one is forcing you to buy designer clothes, drink only local microbrewed beers and only eat cage-free, free range, cruelty free, organic eggs and frequent **** dining establishments weekly).
Basically, the way the insurance exchanges "work" is that younger, healthier people are compelled to get insurance by means of being taxed if they don't. The influx of young, healthy people onto the insurance rolls is supposed to offset the cost of older, sicker people also getting insurance, thus reducing the revenue loss for insurance companies and thereby giving them a reason to offer plans to older, sicker people.
Supposedly, getting rid of the tax penalty will result in younger, healthier people saying "fuck it" and not getting insurance they don't need, which will cause insurance rates to spiral out of control for older sicker people that are still buying insurance, leading to them being unable to afford it, leading to them to choose to pay the tax penalty rather than buy insurance since the penalty will be cheaper. The result will be less young/healthy people AND less old/sick people in the exchanges, the combination of which will mean millions no longer having insurance.
Who knows if this will actually happen. The ACA is neoliberal lobbyist-approved trash.
