But yeah you're right, this girlfriend cover does seem convenient for the moment, but it'd backfire eventually as fans will ask why she wouldn't help out since she apparently also has a job. The excuse to keep the house makes no sense millions of real couples manage to live in less than a full size family townhouse. There are a multitude of options to get rid of the khando that are better than foreclosure. And foreclosure is better than stupidly throwing out tons of cash digging your claws into an empty khando indefinitely. He's so terminally lazy he'd rather bleed his paypigs for a few extra grand every month than spend the time to do a substantial google search or phone call. Isn't it funny that all of a sudden he has a new 'the detractors did it' excuse for skipping the wedding? He's so pissed at them for ruining everything yet he never truly brought up this particular angle until now afaik.

That's why I think this whole girlfriend thing is extremely fake. "I can't date this girl unless I own a house in Washington that she can move into." is one of the worst excuses I have ever heard and the fact that he has tried to sell it so hard makes me believe it is fake. Disagreed. Yes his paypigs will pay him regardless, but he gets literally thousands of dollars every time he has an EMERGENREEEEE. Most recently $1200 in an hour for his taxes. This isn't normal.

The one reason why I scream bullshit over his "the sky is falling" antics. He is all downtrodden and miserable one moment, and then upbeat, planning for January's patreon goal and upcoming gaming season the next. I mean, he sabotages his own mission by vacillating. All it takes is an adult to see that his story never adds up...he is inconsistent.

Someone that's about to lose their house isn't planning for the future, they are planning on a possible relocation and making sure they got expenses lined up so they can afford anything that may come up.

Phil just isn't a guy that's struggling, he lost that status when he openly admitted to shopping in more expensive stores

Wait a minute. Are you saying that Phil “George Washington who couldn’t tell a lie” Burnell may be fibbing a little bit about his tax situation? I’m aghast!

What I think is going on is like a poster said earlier, that Phil already has a payment plan in place, but it’s too lucrative to replace “a payment of a couple hundred bucks a month for 3-5 years” with “I MAY LOSE THE HOUSE!!!” and let the money roll in. There is almost zero chance that the WA Tax people wouldn’t give him a payment plan.

But until the well begins to dry, prepare to hear about his taxes every day and twice on Sunday.

His girlfriend may be real at least to Phil, but I’ll believe it when the words “my boyfriend” comes from her lips.

Phil's reasons for finally announcing his relationship are so flimsy!

1. You guys kept criticising me for having a big house, saying I should downsize (now I can't because I have a girlfriend)
2. You guys couldn't understand why I was taking time off when I need to make as much money as I can

Makes me think that either:
1. This girl 'who doesn't want any attention or publicity' was pissed off that he pretended she didn't exist
2. That he's only just started hooking up with her and is using this as an excuse to justify his massive outgoings
3. He's found out Leanna is seeing someone and he's just made it up
4. Just wanted to brag, so he's making up any excuse to tell everyone

Phil is already working on weasling out of drinking during his Holiday themed event.

- very set on mentioning that he will LOOK AROUND at the stores to see 'what liquor they have' but 'not buying any before the goal is hit'
- talking about how he will pace himself with the drinking because he doesn't wanna get 'too sloshed'
- insisting on alerting the audience that the goal is NOT secure yet and the event isn't guaranteed yet
- gets salty over people suggesting what drinks he could have

My theory: goal totally gets hit and then Phil will claim he was "too busy" to buy the liquor and will somehow justify it that the money is better spent on the tax situation.

Said it before and I'll say it again, his fat ass is gonna be hitting that Gin bottle real hard on Christmas and New Year's. And it'll be real drunk, not the "I am an over-exaggerating clown with a slight buzz" act he'll play on stream for his remaining fanbase.

Someone mentioned how he'll drop the act and magically sober right up to ban anyone who shit talks him during the stream. I'm looking forward to seeing that in a compilation video. If anyone here, including @David Davidson makes videos of that stream, I beg you to highlight this when it happens.

If I was about to lose my home I also wouldn't be buying surround sound headphones and turning up my nose at walmart because only peasants shop there and instagramming how I blow money on pricey VoD packages but thats just me
