In GKs fantasy Heather would shoot the marble or Karate Chop into the perfect likeness of himself in his power armor. GK isn't looking for someone to love he wants someone to share an action life style with no matter how stupid the fantasy is. He should have stuck to a non-romantic relationship with Luke the Giant.

I just realized something. Heather says to call her as soon as he got the message that means that he has her number. Why did they have so many public conversations? Unless Heather only gave him the number recently for the sole purpose of the breakup.

They have been dating for a few years even people in long distance relationships call each other, helps keep connected. Or They could have used Skype.

that is in and of itself a little bit weird. most people enjoy hearing the voice of the person they love. since you were in a call with them, would it be safe to assume that goldie might not enjoy hearing her speak because she doesn't exactly sound like the action girl he wants her to be? she comes off as quiet in her writing, does that show up in the way she speaks as well?

I think it has to do also with the massive difference in his verbal vs written skill. He works so hard to make sure all grammar and spelling are perfect, yet when he speaks he fumbles and as others have said sounds like Rom from DS9.

All in all he is one weird soul, and i agree the sound of a voice makes the difference i would talk vs type any day to loved ones but i guess Goldie prefers his "epic typing cyborg skillz"

Yeah, topper posted it a few pages ago. I'm really worried that what they're saying about him being in denial might be true. Hopefully he's just yet to receive the call and isn't sure that things are final yet.

He definitely seems in denial to me. At the very least he's not going to let go without a lot of kicking and screaming. I have my suspicions the reason he's avoiding speaking to Heather is he thinks she'll change her mind if he just keeps dodging the call.

yeah, she's a quiet, gentle sort of person. She just is. I thought she was charming.

I hope she stands strong. Breaking off a long-term relationship is hard enough, doing it over the internet is even harder because you can't just walk away from the person and not hear from them while you get your own head together. We've seen how manipulative goldie can be and I hope heather's in a good enough place to hold her ground.
