He’s smart enough to never mention his job, I think because he’s embarrassed by it, but look at the mindless shit he constantly tweets about it. He’ll talk about going to see a movie or other alone activity. It’s just weird to never mention friends or family.
He’s never had friends apparently, so that’s a given on why he never mentions them.
But you’d think he’d occasionally mention doing anything with his family or talk about a gift they gave him or something he gave them. You know, anything to make it seem like he’s a functional human.

If he had a job it should be easy to buy more if he has no expenses at all like friends, social events, travel or a girlfriend. It's one of the biggest hints that he either has no job or can't hold one without rage quitting.
It would make sense, because no one wants to hire a manchild that can't act like an adult on the job if his storries are believed.
