First day at his new job and he already wants time off. No wonder he wants the 'easier' option of sitting around all day drawing and playing vidja.
I don't think anyone is really surprised. I wonder what'll happen if his boss says he can't have the day off, considering, y'know, he's only worked one day. I'd love to see how GK would react to actually being told no for once.

At first I wondered how he could possibly even be considered for a job, let alone manage to get one. Now that I know it's a marketing/door to door salesman type job, the reason is pretty clear now. They'll hire literally anybody.

And he won't get paid a dirty red cent unless he can actually close some sales with his business acumen and natural charisma, right?

How long before our hero discovers he's working 12-hour-days for no pay whatsoever and quits like a baby?

Your asumming that he will work through those 12 hours. I can see the manly knight doing one sales pitch, getting told no thanks while the door closes in his face. Then going home to cry for 11 and a half hours, while wasting away cause he can't eat from the stress and hardships of work. Then "debriefing" with his parents for 4 hours on how he needs more tissues and money.

Any idea what he's selling?

Hair extentions, foot massages and the soon to be a best seller "So you want to be a knight!" By the golden knight. Personally the chapter on how to get your super bad ass action hero girlfriend. It's changed my life forever!

Edit-accidently deleted half of the post
