From the video I saw and some of what I heard(which isn't much), most of them thought the gun sounds were a sound issue from the speakers, no one realised that they were getting shot at until a shot hit the giant screen behind the singer. So, even in an AU where her tweet makes sense, it wouldn't have changed anything.

Nothing depresses me more than people using fresh dead bodies to support their political agenda. It's weird that I like coming here just to sit and grieve, and get information without a political message attached to it. I already feel like shit after hearing this, the last thing I want to talk/read about is politics.

There is a huge double standard in the entertainment industry. But beyond that, when people feel like they're in protected classes, they think they can act without repercussions. My father is 70 and 6'3 and he can still lift a minimum of 200 lbs without a lot of trouble.

My dad still works as a Carpenter and he turned 70 this year. I don't know how much all the guns, ammo and what not weighed. But regardless, he could have help or lugged everything up to his suite. Casinos are 24/7 business; including the hotels! So it wouldn't surprise me him bringing in all the weapons without arising too much suspension from security. Especially when you have more visitors to the casino compared to the small staff of security and casino employees.

Wouldn’t surprise me that a 60-something was able to lift all of it over a couple hours.

I feel particularly bad for the brother. Imagine waking up to hear your brother, your own flesh and blood, has committed the worst mass shooting in U.S. history. Now that alone is awful enough knowing your own family is responsible for such a tragedy. I don't really know anything about the brother but I'm willing to bet he's just as horrified as the rest of us, if not more so since he's directly related to this piece of shit.

Now you've got reporters constantly hounding him as if he knows anything about what his monster of a brother was up to in the first place. It's really shitty that they go after the survivors who are no doubt shaken to their fucking core over the whole thing, but it's also terrible that they go after the perp's family who are probably just as mortified. If the brother knew what Paddock was up to, I'm pretty sure he would have told someone about it.

This is an awful situation all around. 2017 has been a really shitty year.
