this is gonna be the Port Aurthur of mass shootings for america, innit? And i dont mean that in the way of sweeping gun control.

I don't think I've ever wanted to kick someone's ass harder than I do right now. McIntosh has always been a level of exceptional that gives things like eugenics merit but this is just something else.

Why do these types of people always try to politicize tragedies? While I'm not gonna link it because Vox, but they put out an article saying that white men are more dangerous than Muslim terrorists. Anyone on any side who politicizes a tragedy can go fuck themselevs.

I can never understand why Americans have all these mass shootings all the time, really its confusing. If we're talking availablilty that can't be it, as loose as gun laws can be in certain states in my country getting a gun is easy. Just know the right people and you can get a 45 for like 40 bucks. Sure it's a a machined peice of shit that is liable to blow up in your face but it kills all the same.

Military grade stuff you can get, just gotta grease the right palms for military surplus or whatever. Hell, there was a whole armory found inside a prison. So it can't be that.

Yet seems like every year at least 3 people go wack and start shooting people up for no particular reason. What's up with that? It's such a localized problem that only Americans seem to have, I find it almost morbidly fascinating in a sense.

Personally I love shooting and hate when shit like this happens, sure they're weapons but they're a great pastime as well. Really fucked up that all these people died.

I think it's a more fundamental problem to America as a culture than anything to do with guns, to be honest. If we didn't have guns we'd have people driving into crowds and higher death tolls via knives.

If he wants toxic masculinity I'll gladly share all of mine with him in private.

The politicization of tragedy is one of the lowest things anyone can do in the wake of any kind of disaster. "Something horrible happened? Better shove my agenda down everyones throats because this proves me right somehow!". Hillary, McIntosh, all the anti-Trumpers who blame everything on Donald, hell even Obama right now can all go fuck themselves right now.

Russia or Norway? I know it's pretty easy to get guns there, and they tend to be more drunk than American's yet they don't get as many mass shootings. Maybe because they're fine with slugging it out with someone with their fists and get drunk afterwords so there's no hard feelings afterwords.

I'm not sure whether to believe that this is a politically or religiously motivated shooting at all. There's a good chance that he's an old-fashioned mentally deranged psychopath - why do all shootings these days have to be politically motivated somehow? Can't we just have people being a psychopath for the sake of being a psychopath.

The shooter's brother did mention that he had no political leanings, nor did he have social media. But that may just be him trying to save face.

Latest I've heard is that he's from Mesquite, NV, which is Bundy territory...but was not involved in any politics at all.

Pretty sure this guy was just a nutter.

Whatever Switzerland does with guns, they do it right. Something needs to change in American culture, or else these tragedies will keep happening.

Eventually, due to the extremes of our political compass, we'll collapse in a brutal and violent civil war. Things like these random psychotic outbursts are a symptom of a society on the edge of collapse.

Really the only difference a suppressor would have made would be that the shooter wouldn't have to wear hearing protection while he was shooting. They ain't that good at reducing sound.

Although over the loud music it could have given him a couple of extra seconds of shooting people unaware of what was happening but with his body count that's splitting hairs really.
