Easy as it is to laugh at this, 50+ people died and more will follow. This is a tragedy and hopefully (but probably will) something like this will never happen again.

A small detail that made me think highly of the production company doing the show:

In the videos showing the moment everyone realized shit was going down, the lighting engineer had the presence of mind and took the time to kill the stage lights before turning on the crowd floods so people could see where they were going before he FO'ed.

That probably saved a shit ton of people's lives from being trampled.

You could argue that it lit up the crowd for the shooter to see them easier, and that's true. But a crowd running in the light is more aware than a crowd running in darkness.

I don't think the two correlate. Its more like the extremes always end up running all online forums. I've heard this a couple of times in this thread. Wonder if the guy was working with somebody who decided to book it between the start of the shooting and the end? It wouldn't be hard to blend in with panicking crowds.
