The Postal 2 expansion pack looks alright. Though I'm really surprised why RwS doesn't just try and port the game to a brand new engine instead of still using Unreal 1.
With regard to Doom 4 I'm not very excited. Considering how Carmack has already left Id and just how bad Rage was, I don't really expect much from them anymore. Doom 4 has been in development hell for many years and had it's development restarted like 4 times already.
With Wolfy TNO it could be argued it turned out great because it was developed by a different studio, one made up of ex-Starbreeze devs.

RWS has said that they simply don't have the money for a new game on a new engine. It's a small dev company with only a few people working there.
I'm mostly with you on DOOM 4, though. I kind of lost faith in iD after playing RAGE, and now that Carmack's gone, I have even less. But I'm still keeping my hopes up for this one. The trailer seems to imply a DOOM 3-like game, but the fact that they're using the classic design for the Cyberdemon (with some enhancements), and even the door makes me feel like they're actually gonna make it DOOM instead of 'dark and edgy monster closet game.'
I loved it when the Cyberdemon at the end of the trailer chomped down on a cigar and then said, "It's about damn time... hail to the king, baby. Who wanta some wang?"
please be good, Doom4. You broke my heart before...
Absolutely cannot wait for Doom 4, but I'm hoping it's not another reboot. Making 4 games and having three of them be the exact same story would be pretty lame.
That's what I've been hoping for, but with as long as it's been in development hell and with them changing the official name to just Doom, I've been concerned.
Hmm? Where's that screen? I'm aware that the DLC was an April Fool's Day joke, and I doubt that any of that costs money, but how do you get to that screen?
If the devs on Postal 2's community hub on Steam can be trusted, Postal 2 is getting an update in a month/or by the end of the summer that will add big picture/controller support. And it's in anticipation for Paradise Lost

We have Xinput fully up and running our end, with the button prompts on screen too. Not sure when you guys will get it as we need to test it further, but it won't be long (sometime this summer) ,and will conclude our free updates for P2.
