I remember when Tim Thomas didn't want to visit Obama and that pretty much ended his career.

Demographics *is* Destiny.Because for them its an "Outside Context Problem". It all comes back to "Demographics is Destiny". That theory was was first proposed around 2000 but after 2008/2012 that viewpoint really took off among the Left. But nowhere was it more accepted. More wholeheartedly believed. More treated as Gospel. Than among Millennials. Think about it. The first time many of them voted for the President was in '08 or '12. They came of age under Obama. All the pollsters. All the academics. All the talking heads. They all agreed on one thing. "Demographics is Destiny". Millennials honestly believed no Republican was ever going to be President again...and if by some miracle a Republican did become President... they would be a bland inoffensive Jeb! tier "Centrist" Republican... and then Trump came along and cataclysmically shattered their entire worldview. They just can't even. They just can't handle. They just have no frame of reference for something like this. They just have no fucking idea what to do.
One is that Trump rescinded Curry's invitation (okay, Curry didn't want to go in the first place).

Anyone remember the "war on women" that was a talking point on the MSM around the time Romney made his "binders full of women" comment ?
Another reason why they can't come to grips with the fact the pussy grabber in chief beat the first female candidate.
That's normal etiquette. If you're extended an invitation with an RSVP and you respond "no", the invitation is considered declined and therefore rescinded. (And if you're rude enough to go around saying, "hell no, I wouldn't be caught dead around So-and-so", then you deserve to have the invitation publicly rescinded--though I'm sure Miss Manners would recommend a much more passive-aggressive phrasing.) So if you show up afterward anyway, the host is in the right to turn you away.
So, ironically, Trump is being more polite and less assholish than Curry, who apparently also threw a basketball around in the same room with a china cabinet and a president who was apparently born in a barn because why would you do that?
If you look at Dolly's face through out the little speech, she's pretty shocked and embarassed through out the whole thing like she couldn't believe they'd be this vicious and knew if she said anything, the Hollywood mafia would use any action she makes against her. So she joked about herself later on and let the other two talk. From what I heard, Fox News had shown some camera work that went to her face which showed these expressions more."Nine to Five" was a nice little movie.
I love a lot of Dolly Parton's music, I think Jane Fonda was a very talented actress, and I always liked
Lily Tomlin in general.
But fuck these three with their political crap on a show about entertainment.
And fuck Stephen Colbert with some rusty garden shears.
The article powiedział(a):Kerr spoke about the importance of everyone’s voice to be heard in the decision, sweeping from the players on the roster, all the way to the executives in the front office and ownership:
“It’s important for everybody to express their views, not only players, but coaches, management and ownership… We will be deciding in the next couple of days what we want to do.”
Forget the "Binders". Anyone remember when the MSM accused Romney of bullying a gay kid to suicide in high school or some shit like that?Anyone remember the "war on women" that was a talking point on the MSM around the time Romney made his "binders full of women" comment ?

Trump Colluded With Russia and Will Be Impeached, Says Maxine Waters
By Jason Le Miere On 9/23/17 at 7:30 AM
Outspoken Donald Trump critic Maxine Waters on Thursday guaranteed that there was collusion between the president and Russia and called on the black community to demand his impeachment. Waters, the long-time Democratic Congresswoman from California, has frequently called for Trump to be removed from office, citing a variety of alleged offenses.

But her latest tirade against the United States’ 45th president may be her most severe yet. Speaking at a town hall on civil rights for the Congressional Black Caucus, Waters called on the black community to step up and make their voices heard in opposition to Trump. Adding that there was no strict definition for what constituted an impeachable offense.
“How many in your organization have said ‘impeach 45?’” she said. “Impeachment is about whatever the Congress says it is. There is no law that dictates impeachment. What the Constitution says is ‘high crimes and misdemeanors,’ and we define that.
“Bill Clinton got impeached because he lied. Here you have a president, who I can tell you and guarantee you is in collusion with the Russians to undermine our democracy. Here you have a president who has obstructed justice. And here you have a president that lies every day.”

While the Constitution dictates that a president can only be removed for “treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanors,” it is ultimately a political and not a legal decision. That reality is why the chances of impeaching Trump within the near future are viewed as slim to non-existent with Republicans controlling both houses of Congress.
One of Waters’ fellow California Democrats, Brad Sherman, began the process against Trump in July, filing articles of impeachment in the House of Representatives, accusing the president of obstructing justice over his firing of former FBI Director James Comey. Trump later said he had the investigation into whether he colluded with Russia on his mind when he decided to fire Comey. It has been reported in recent days that the man now leading the investigation, special counsel Robert Mueller, is seeking documents related to Trump’s dismissal of the former FBI director.
If he is impeached, Trump would become just the third president to suffer such a fate, following Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. Both were later acquitted in the Senate. Waters, though, has already made up her mind that it is time for Trump to go.
“Thank God that the special counsel is beginning to connect the dots—and understand Facebook's role in it, social media's role in it," she continued in remarks that earned a standing ovation. “When is the black community going to say, ‘yeah, Impeach him’? It's time to go after him. I don't hear you. Don’t another person come after me and say ‘you go, girl.’ No, you go.”
...Adding that there was no strict definition for what constituted an impeachable offense...
“Impeachment is about whatever the Congress says it is. There is no law that dictates impeachment. What the Constitution says is ‘high crimes and misdemeanors,’ and we define that..."
Keep beating the dead horse. It would only come back alive and beat you instead.

Right and I agree here. But I'm also hearing that he rescinded the invite to the entire team, which would make Trump an asshole too. Kind of like that teacher who makes the entire class stay inside for recess because one kid was goofing off.
(And Tim Thomas was a dick too. I'm seeing some of the same people who supported Thomas now criticizing Curry, and vice versa.)
Meeting the president, even if you think he's a door knob, should be an honor.
My monitors are going off.
