It really does feel like it's slid right into total irrelevance. 20K people are apparently watching and no is talking about it. Twitch isn't even featuring it on the front page when it used to take over the site before. It was similar last time but somehow this is even less.

"Hey, chud, they stream on Youtube too." That extra few thousand definitely makes up for what usd to be 80K+ regularly. I see this rolled out along with the 'they just never recaptured what they had pre-Covid' and 'it's the World Cup's fault.'

I thought that too, but apparently trannies that decide to larp as women are more apt to femininely watch sports than autistic nerds. But that still leaves us in the quandry since the rest of the potential audience is nerds and gamer girls who also don't overlap well with sports enjoyers either. It all ends in coping and dilating.

I think I found a great microcosm of why this event has gone downhill so much. Saw this thread posted on Reddit this morning, apparently there was an Elden Ring run with four screens, but for some strange reason somebody kept highlighting a single screen so hype moments were constantly missed

Why did this happen? Surely everybody wants to see all the action?

Oh damn, it's because the rando running the screens who knows nothing about the game was "enjoying the challenge" of juggling four screens at once.

The people behind the scenes do not need to try to be Main Characters. It's not about you bro, if you feel like you can't run something like four screens at once, humble yourself and ask somebody else to do it.

I think staffers probably are former fans who get a bit of an ego because they're part of the show now. The dipshit above could have gone "oh yeah next time we won't do that" but instead went "oh uwu I GUESS people just didn't like me and now I'm weawwy sad"
