I know I’m pretty late to the party when it comes to this footage but I felt like I’d just mention how uncanny it is to see this unfold from Officer Bentley’s POV.

Watching a fully grown man throw a toddler tantrum while smacking himself in the head and just being able to feel the disgust and contempt in Bentley as he tries to figure out what to do with him made me wanna recoil in my seat almost as much as it made me wanna giggle.

His POV really makes it impossible to forget that he had to try and arrest a three hundred pound raging manchild that reeked of shit and BO pretty much all on his own.

God bless Bentley and the rest of the Tonawanda PD, lord knows none of them got paid enough to put up with any of this garbage.

Americans' ideas about how the US legal system works is entirely informed by police procedural shows like "Law And Order" and YouTubers. They really think that if they tell cops what they want to hear, that the police will immediately uncuff them and set them free, or if they use "one simple trick," the police have to let them go. Unfortunately, it's lead to a lot of people burning down their own lives.

Im not to familiar with andrew besides 2-3 lolcow summaries on youtube but at some point I honestly gotta ask if this is all an act (like it was/is believed) or if he had some kind of physically trauma, injuries and/or sudden onset mental illness cause this.

Aint no way that someone can put up this act for years, making their own life (and everyone elses) miserable just for attention.

He's been formally diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder (as well as a couple of cluster B personality disorders, if memory serves) so behavior like this is totally on-brand.

Yes, he is dangerous, but also a coward.

While @Taser Confetti is giving good advice which should be heeded in any case, I nonetheless do not believe for a second that Amdy would have the courage to attempt the use of a lethal weapon on a cop ー he has just enough low cunning to understand that such an action would be the end of his stinky journey through life.

I immediately clocked it as a tongue in cheek reference to the footage, because when he's getting accosted for burning like an entire bottle of eucalyptus in his diffuser to gas the family and force them upstairs or outside he's shouting "IM JUST DOIN IT TO RELAX. IM DOING IT TO RELAX I DID NOTHING WROOOOOONG. I DID NOTHING WROOOOOONG YOURE BUZIN MEEEEEE."

Now that I think about it, his smell receptors must be burnt the fuck out from huffing shit because how the fuck could he tolerate it. He clearly wasn't gagging or coughing or anything so somehow he could deal with it, unless he was just really good at hiding it like the psychopath he is.
