She's been different since she came back as Anya. Between her graduation and belatedly joining Phase she had some serious medical problems, bad enough to change her personality. Occasionally she seems like "herself" (former), but she's pretty much gone—in a way that people who don't know she got fucked up are interpreting as laziness, irresponsibility, etc. "She got her dream job and quit before it started. In better menhera news, Shiori sang "Red Heart" at the LA concert. I didn't watch because all my favorites weren't there, but I caught a clip at the bad place. She likes Chama a lot—used to get criticized for being too much like her, but nobody says that anymore—and she clearly did it in tribute. (Plus it's a good song for bad singers to sing.) Very sweet.

Basically what happened was that she tried acupuncture to see what its about and it fucked up her back. It caused her so much pain that she pretty much had a mental breakdown because she was sleep-deprived.

This was all happening right before the original Saga debut. This is why she debuted later because of her mental break/religious psychosis which explains why her content is radically different and why her family might not trust her to be by herself hence why she couldn't be at PhaseCon and it also spirals into her missing the 6 month anni stream because she doesn't feel apart of them which causes her to potentially spiral further.

Where does the information about acupuncture come from? And why would anyone experiment with pseudoscience bullshit like acupuncture or a chiropractor right before she was set for the biggest career moment of her life?
 
It's more likely the SSRI's from her mental breakdowns that have changed her than anything. It can take months weaning yourself on/off at different doses to try and find what works for you just for one drug, and if they're experimenting with different medications that'll just drag shit on forever.

Honestly from the few recent streams I've watched it seems like she's on some heavy dosages at the moment as well, which would only make her shift more noticeable.

depends, plenty of Pooners like U-san do (used to be Yugo from Nijisanji EN before she got mental and quit because she joined as a male talent). I think Uruka from Phase has mentioned that her voice is more or less just aping Teen Titans Raven and kinda unnatural

Yuu best girl. She is the super smart genius after all. Also, definitely fits the bill in my book for a genuine dork.
