What was taken from her, because she is female, and for no other reason. It has opened my mind to the idea of fostering female children only, if I am in a position to do so at some point in my life. They’re so vulnerable.

I don't think incarceration should be a punishment. It should serve as a deterrent and a way to protect innocent people from ones who have demonstrated willingness and ability to cause harm to them. You're either dangerous or you're not.
