Literally happens every day. Unless they had ECMO or some shit a Ventilator wouldn't make any difference in his outcome of he remained pulseless.

It takes a remarkably small amount of time pulseless to become unsalvagable. I had a lady last week that we must have gotten there maybe a minute or two too late. We kept getting a pulse back but it wouldn't stick. The epi wasn't enough. At some point the medulla has just been oxygen deprived for too long and it just isn't gonna send that heartbeat signal anymore.

Realistically, that's shock. It's how we all go. They used to call this shit "dying of old age" but boomers cling to life like a bad case of crabs. I doubt my generation will be any better.
