She is not horny but the whole mind reading each other (i still don't get that one) and "i watched my friends die of old age but you're immortal so you so much to me MC-kun pls dont leave me!" are some thrashy tropes that mihoyo developed in a waifu lab.
I remember her being more normal on the archon quest until her sidequest and event made her traveler waifu bait, but wasn't on this level. She still had other stuff going on while here it's very blatant that she is only appearing for ship bait and selling the skin.
Hell, even the skin itself is incredibly lazy in context. You just find citlali in pijamas by coincidence and i don't remember if she wears it again.

Hoyo managed to make Sandrone/Columbina as annoying as Alhaitham/Kaveh, it's infuriating. I know it's just a part of gacha games, but I hate all that shipping stuff so much (that includes MC baiting, looking at you, Citlali). It immediately makes me like a character much less if they're part of a popular ship.
I've seen TCs calculate Odette with Cyno, so that what I'm going to use her with. I'm looking forward to dusting off my General Mahamatra. Only one more week until I get his C1, woohoo! So I do think Odette is going to be a versatile unit.

Tsaritsa Anastasya is going to be a broken hypercarry DPS, Hoyo told me in my dreams.
Being serious I do hope Anastasya is a main DPS (hypercarry Hoyo please), they already robbed me of Columbina main DPS, it can't happen twice in a row, or so I hope, I'm saving everything for her anyways (hoping for around 400-500 pulls by the time she's out), worst case scenario even if she does end as a support or sub DPS, someone cool gets to be the main DPS for her and I get both, which is what I literally did with Zibai as Columbina did end up as a support, and I'm happy with her premium team (Linnea is hella cool).

Yeah that's what i meant. In a lot of myths gods will be impressed or angry for silly reasons and curse/bless mortals for it.
Citlali's case makes sense considering the nightwind's ties to weaving but it's funny because it was a cute pijama and not something epic like having your bloodline cursed by the heavens due to super sinners.

Odette right now is basically columbina but more restricted/stronger.
She is a subdps and enables stellar reactions for the whole team, but enabling it is useless if you don't have a disabled stelar dps like Wrio/Cyno/mizuki/yae.
She is more valuable if you want to play someone othe than sandrone, and sandrone herself gets more benefit from Yae because yae's personal damage is very high now, which feels like a mistake.
But now we have cryo traveler too who enables it for free and he can be conduct maindps with yae+odete or stellar swirl support and he is getting a free 5* sword for exploring scheznaya. And like, an actually overpowered to shit sword, it has 5* stats, balanced crit, and at max refines gives 42% crit dmg, 40% atk and 5 energy every 8 seconds to traveler. It's unclear how we will max it and won't solve the kit flaws but if you're f2p this is a huge power for them.
I expect odete to be buffed cause right now she is not great if you don't have cyno/wrio. She would get better if they buff older units to be stellar too but one shouldn't expect miracles (kazuha buff wheeeen).

Bina and sandrone got the worst of all characters pre to post nodkrai. I don't care how well hoyo planned stuff, there are obvious beta scripts just like there are beta designs and beta kits, and stuff changes in the final version. I remember them changing ganyu's voice about kusanali's gender and i heard arlechino release legit made some npcs change their lines.
Bina is introuced as this weird almost alien person who doesn't understand humans while sandrone wanted to colonize nodkrai but because this tragic tsundere with dead father.
Then we find out that bina did nothing wrong ever in her life, she would just sleep and sing all day. For hundreds of year she never understood the meaning of friendship until traveler talked to her. Childe and Wanderer hyping her as creepy and dangerous was just a misunderstanding. In the event Bina was basically this autistic child where traveler has to ask people to go easy with her cause she's "slow".
It's not inherently bad and people had high expectations but it can be underwhelming to watch the harbingers lose every drop of aura they had.
Hoyo is also pushing this narrative that uh, actually they were always cool with each other which is weird especially for bina. Arle also had a line where she doesn't care about sandrone and barely ever sees her.

Columbina can play main dps but it's only in lunar bloom where she spams charge atk enhanced by lauma so you basically play a weaker Nefer with more team flexibility.
Even if she is a support, i expect tsaritsa to be the same where she can fight at least a little, and investing in cons makes her more viable as main dps.
BTW this is unrelated but here is some funny drama: Vesna's VA played genshin with some streamer and during natlan she made sure to talk over, fake sneeze over and eventually mute Kinich whenever he spoke. This is presumably due to the new VA replacing the old VA.
Weird that this woman hates the voice actor but not hoyo, who she has no issues working with. Just keep this video in mind if she ever gets fired for saying something stupid in the future.
