It kind of makes sense for it to happen before the final battle. Now Imu gets to be like "NO IT IS YOU WHO IS A JOYBOY CHILD STALKER!" to LuffyI’m just shocked we’re getting Gear 5 Luffy vs Imu ahead of schedule.
The depiction of layouts still suffers too. Like the Zoro moment you're talking about. I looked at the page for a solid minute and I still can't tell where the two characters are in relation to each other. Its solid dialogue but weighed down by them totally glancing over having the characters stand in front of one another. One thing that modern One Piece unfortunately lacks is the little character moments between the Straw Hats. Zoro and Sanji’s useless bickering being put aside for implicate trust when the situation demands it is always a hype moment, and it’s subtle in this chapter because we haven’t gotten much of the former in a while. Also Nami’s commentary on Brook and Franky being the extreme non-humans they are was peak; on par with Luffy not feeling cold because he’s made of rubber.
Zoro is atop the ship figurehead that frames them within the panel itself with Sommers at the base (as evident by Sommers' black fire halo thing). Oda went with a panel break to establish their interaction in one go, which he's definitely done before. The page probably needed another panel showing the push in to better describe where Zoro is, but Oda clearly wanted to establish their fight in one spread.I looked at the page for a solid minute and I still can't tell where the two characters are in relation to each other.
given how gunko is being freed currently i think this is just going to be a nice preview until gunko returns to being princess shuri and hurts imu bad enough that he has to flee. what im wondering is what will happen to loki here. im not entirely set on it but i could see him dying and the hammer being passed to usopp or something but who knows.I’m just shocked we’re getting Gear 5 Luffy vs Imu ahead of schedule.
I feel like Loki dying may not happen because who else will run the kingdom now that it's been visited by Lufffy and had its government changed thanks to the Straw Hats.given how gunko is being freed currently i think this is just going to be a nice preview until gunko returns to being princess shuri and hurts imu bad enough that he has to flee. what im wondering is what will happen to loki here. im not entirely set on it but i could see him dying and the hammer being passed to usopp or something but who knows.
i mean hajrudin is also haralds son so he is an option.I feel like Loki dying may not happen because who else will run the kingdom now that it's been visited by Lufffy and had its government changed thanks to the Straw Hats.
Its pretty explicit Imu is on a timer.Wyświetl załącznik 9225025
So we're getting Sanji's CoC awakening and a taste of Imu vs Luffy next chapter. I doubt this will be the final battle between them, im guessing something will interrupt.
Him essentially calling Imu a coward and forcing him to come in person makes up for it tbh. I do look forward to seeing him get his ass beat back on the Sunny for it, though lol.Usopp ain't even gonna have a single fight in Elbaph. Oda doing him real dirty.
I'm ngl, Dressrosa Usopp mogs Elbaph Usopp in every conceivable way right now. At least he did something and stopped someone on DF's crew who was relevant to the plot. Really feels like Usopp took a major step back this last decade.Him essentially calling Imu a coward and forcing him to come in person makes up for it tbh. Even the part where Dressrosa Usopp lost all his character development and only stopped Sugar the first time by pure luck, a point everybody hated up until he made the face?I'm ngl, Dressrosa Usopp mogs Elbaph Usopp in every conceivable way right now. Hajrudin can't be king right now, he's a pirate captain and part of the Straw Hat Armada. Maybe later.i mean hajrudin is also haralds son so he is an option.
I doubt it. That was just Luffy not giving a shit about the bigger meta and endgame, even though he’s the key to all of it.I am also guessing we are going to get a Nika/Joyboy vs Luffy (and maybe the other Strawhats too) fight before the end. The cycle gets broken by Luffy and not Joy Boy.
Usopp actually did something that impacted the story. In Elbaph he is reduced to One Piece Hercule. This was supposed to be his arc too. We been waiting for this for over 20 years.Even the part where Dressrosa Usopp lost all his character development and only stopped Sugar the first time by pure luck, a point everybody hated up until he made the face?
I try to wait and see where things go and so far, Usopp's fine. We'll see how things stand within a few more months before his place here is over, but he might get to talk to the Giants and bring them the way.
When has Franky done anything? Ever? Every single arc he is at best given one tertiary villain to fight in a long, drawn out battle far away from everyone else. And he's debatably as strong as Sanji and Zoro. Same with Robin. You sort of just have to accept that half of the crew isn't going to be used much.Usopp actually did something that impacted the story. In Elbaph he is reduced to One Piece Hercule. I think a lot of people realize that. And hate it.When has Franky done anything? Ever?
