Mikey's channel was genuinely great and had a unique presentation style that was quite fresh. A lot of the documentary-style videos are fucking shite, and only a few stand out, and a lot of those are on the cybersecurity side, i.e., Crumb and Slop News Network.

YouTube is mega broken. He got reported for nudity once, and it was a hand in a video game FPS.
YouTube seems to do everything in its power never to actually address anything, so everything is done through some "if you know the right person to call bullshit."

I am normally very anti-regulation, but YouTube has a monopoly over video content, and something needs to be done about it. Because this bullshit has gone on for over a decade now.

If you're a libertarian but you still want the state to righteously kick Google's teeth in, I've got the perfect cope for you.
Google has received over $2 billion in government subsidies. If they wanted to be a private company with complete control over their policies, then they should've thought about that before accepting $2 billion of free money from the American people. As far as I'm concerned, any content protected by the 1st amendment should be available on YouTube, uncensored and ad-free.

I'm almost 100% sure he is getting on walmart.com where you can "ship to store" so he can say... 'well you can pick up my coffee in the store if you want' He will see that as a win.

The real question here is why hasn't anybody called the police on Jer yet for falsely claiming, under oath mind you, that his coffee was 50% off, and not whatever the fuck this mere 47% off bullshit is.

I've considered it, and it's not too much extra work as all of the UI stuff is already there so it's just a case of getting the Rumble data, which should be easy.
I focused on YouTube as that is Jer's flagship, and watching him struggle to keep it afloat is where the entertainment is (for me at least).
I don't think Jer is wounded by his Rumble video views, but he definitely is by is YouTube views.

Also, my instinct with Rumble is that the views feel so fake I don't know if it's actually valuable. I'll do a test run and see if the data is interesting. If it is, I'll work on getting it added.

I agree that is both were he gets the most views, reach and possibly ad-revenue. He also doesn't care about his rumble as much since his videos are catered to youtube and the titles are also catered to (his perception of) youtube's algorithm.

The views are definitely bought/Rumble shenanigans but I also imagine since he doesn't care as much about rumble, I don't think he buys the views much long after he posts the vids. comparing the video momentum in rumble vs the youtube momentum could early flag potential promoted videos.

I would also be interested in his live video stats, has his morning show really been a boon to his channel? how much does viewership increase by having Mel on to screech "WOW."
Is there a way to see if certain videos were featured on Rumbles homepage and therefore one could calculate the number of fake views rumble ads?

It would be nice if you had access to a mod account and then you could scrape the number of banned/muted accounts.

My understanding (as someone that is outside the US), is that the US state and associated enforcement apparatus and big corporations collude to strip you of your constitution rights when they deem it convenient to do so. I have no qualms of people using state power to quash this sort of corruption, gangs, organised crime and the like.

Jeremy and Co who call themselves libertarians/on the right or whatever he says (which changes more often than he changes his socks), are an embarrassment to people on the the right in general.

In any event Google et El needs to be split apart.
