BREAKING: House Republicans just advanced their voter suppression bill in the Rules Committee.

If the Rule passes tomorrow, the SAVE Act will automatically be added to the National Defense Authorization Act when it passes.

This bill will make it harder to register to vote, especially if you’re a woman, live in a rural community, serve in the military, or are a Tribal voter.

If you’re wealthy enough to have a passport, you’re fine. But more than 21 million Americans don’t have one. Under the SAVE Act, a REAL driver’s license in many states or other common forms of ID wouldn’t be enough to register.

Don’t call this a voter ID bill. A true voter ID law could accept a REAL ID driver’s license.

This isn’t about election security. It’s about making it harder for eligible Americans to vote.

If you are wealthy enough to have a passport? Nigga it's like $100 and is good for 10 years. You can get a passport card for even cheaper.

Also other forms of ID are not good enough because libshit states will give them out like candy to illegals. Shit, you don't even need a name or adress to get one in some states.
Who the fuck has $100???

It's easy to get $100. Donating blood plasma pays about $100 or so per session. Most people can do it twice a week safely. It takes about an hour (first time takes longer due to screening). Of course, you have to be legal to donate plasma. And drug-and-disease-free. Ironically they check your identity and eligibility harder than they do at the voting booth.

And every state waives fees for regular IDs and often even driver's licenses for indigents.

This is a non-issue. Complaining about this means you're pro-slavery, pro-endless-importation, pro-illegals, period.

Sometimes I really miss the days when my time was spent laughing at dumb shit like that on &t or shitposting on /b/. Like it was a complete waste of time and probably made me worse as a human being, but it was so much more comfy than worrying about whether some bleeding heart Catholic retard is going to officially drive a nail into the coffin of America tomorrow.
What? How is it dumb shit? It was issued by a police department, just like @seal's post.

Soon there won't be anything left to smile about. Hopeless despair is all that awaits us in the future and it all starts with tomorrow's ruling.
