Does anyone know when we should expect the ruling in the Title IX case? I know it was supposed to be near the end of June.
Probably tomorrow.

Here is a niche one. Via gender critical law professor Michael Moran on Twitter:

The European Court of Human Rights has declared inadmissible a challenge brought by a trans man who was registered as the mother of a child, despite having a Gender Recognition Certificate in the male gender.

I attach the judgement as PDF. The person is not named anywhere I would think because children are involved but erm, it certainly reminds one of "Freddy McConnell", the mother of two who transitioned into comedy hipster Danny Bear from Toast of London and who was going to appeal an identical case.

She's right when she says there's a "mish mash of rules in place around the registration of parenthood for LGBT people that needs fully overhauling".

The GRA needs to be abolished, and the word "trans" should be replaced with "fake" - that'll make it easier for everyone to understand.
It's only a mess because we give these weirdos a platform.

It's irksome how the article says repeatedly that "LGBT people" aren't being treated fairly. It's an excellent example of how trannies latched onto gay rights like a facehugger and co-opted the entire movement.

Just say trans people. If a lesbian gives birth there's no issue here, that's the mother. It is specifically trans men who are demanding power over language. So say that. See, they can't. Because this request is utterly insane and FTMs alone do not have the social capital necessary to be granted this huge concession.

This 5 year old article accidentally does an incredible job showing how troons drummed up so much support. They wrapped themselves in LGBT so when liberal-minded people read articles like these they put aside any concern about the absurdity of calling a woman who gives birth father and think only "oh, well I support gay people so I guess I support this!" Repeat x5999 and here we are.

This is why they were so aggressive about getting the LGB Drop the T movement silenced, T can't stand on its own.

Fucking genius really. Except it was never going to work long term, not with the way trannies kept making crazier and crazier demands. People who are mostly tolerant but not zealous can only be nudged so far before they start questioning things. <--- You Are Here

I also think the GRA needs abolishing, but that's not likely to happen soon. British politics has become completely unpredictable though.

Well it serves no useful purpose now since the Supreme Court ruled that men are men and women are women.
Having a piece of paper that says you're a woman, no longer trumps biological reality.

The other rights that were "enshrined" there, they already had if they were ones the rest of us had.

The only thing it seems to do now is allow the deliberate misreading of it against other laws in an attempt to make "other laws" sound stupid and sew more intentional confusion.

British politics has become completely unpredictable though.

That'll be because our Prime Ministers have a very short shelf life - 6 in 10 years is more mental than letting a tranny run a kindergarten.

Ironically, petty tyrant Fat Dumb Gay Al has much more in common with the actual Nazi's in terms of:

1. Thought policing.
2. Ideological purity tests.
3. Compelled speech and politcal views.
4. Absolute authority of the state.
5. State confiscation of private property.
6. Support for imprisonment for politcal disloyalty or "wrong think."
7. Erasure of dissenting viewpoints.

Why the fuck's he concerned? He doesn't have to worry about it.

The issues that get PMs elected/voted out (cost of living, immigration, quality of government services) have very little to do with the GRA. Combine that with the short tenure you mentioned and nobody's going to last long enough to focus on lower priority issues like that, s/he will last long enough to push one or two big initiatives before being forced out.

The only exception I can envision (and this is an 'if', not a 'when') would be if widespread fraud or malpractice in NHS gender clinics got them shut down altogether, not just restricted to 18+. At that point dealing with the NHS' screwup would become a top priority and revoking the GRA could get rolled up into that.

AGP head tilt down pat, but riding his sword as if he's about to play a game of quidditch. He's in the news because he's taking the government, his employer, to an employment tribunal. Their crime. Even though they've smothered themselves in rainbow and pink and blue flags, they have sinned by letting an internal group discuss the fact that this is all a load of pish. And when all gender discussions from both sides were limited to those who had signed up to see them, this was still invalidating him. Possibly. Because he had been told not to look, so couldn't see. So he put in an official complaint. And when that was rejected he complained that they hadn't looked hard enough for such invalidating discussions. Because he was sure they were there. Even though he hadn't looked.

Check out his submission for the most self-centred, pitying whinge you'll ever find.

Tribunal Tweets were there, but if you'd prefer some interleaved piss taking then head over to mumsnet

I lost the will to live after the first 20 pages of self serving drivel, but the bottom line appears to be that all of his complaints go back to the "men are men, women are women" ruling by the Supreme Court, and he doesn't like it.
I'm guessing he though that working for the Civil Service in some way excluded him from legal reality.

He's just screaming into the void and wasting taxpayer money.

Someone back this up so I can look at it without using Drive. I wanna hear troon whining.

There's an interesting new EEOC case coming out of Florida that was filed with the help of our beloved ACLU
Link | Archive

In short, a teacher with Turner's Syndrome (XY chromosomes but developed superficially female) who had transitioned to live as a man was fired from their job while in a probationary period and they have alleged that it was due to transphobic complaints from a parent. The publicly available complaint doesn't list the alleged proof from the parent so it's unknown exactly what it was. Bostock is specifically being cited for this one.

The specific complaint letter to the EEOC can be read here: Link | Archive

She knew the rules.
If she is indeed intersex (I have my doubts) she was documented as female as she looked like a female and should have carried on that way and not rocked her own boat and then cry about her feet getting wet.

There should never be a tranny in a school and she decided, of her own free will, to go down that path.

Probably an uncommon opinion, but I can't help but be a bit sympathetic and I'm sure that the ACLU thought that they hit the jackpot with this case. I've seen so many TIMs larp having this specific condition that I am rather taken aback to see a pooner who (allegedly) has it. I do find it interesting that they chose to go the EEOC route with this considering that the head under the current administration is very unsympathetic to troonery.
