I guess there's a case from another district that can be brought against him. He's still going to stay at the detention center until his supreme court appeal goes through. There aren't oral arguments for that, they just review all the written stuff, as I understand.

A Korean friend claimed in Korea, appeals rarely work because of this stupid mianzi bullshit that eastern Asians do. Basically, a judge doesn't want to overstep on another judge, because doing so would imply that they did a poor job for some reason and bad for face.
I don't know how true this is in the legal world. Perhaps Korean kiwis can chime in.

I'm honestly glad this disgusting nog got anything, I get that Japan didn't want to deal with his antics, but they really dropped the ball. Seeing as this uppity nigger probably wouldn't have been so quick to try his usual antics in Korea, the only positive being is he'll be banned from a lot of countries due to his current criminal convictions, and any country willingly letting him is just asking for him to do it all again.

Korea has has some recent cases of deepfakes involving kpop idols, one person got 1.5 years suspended sentence and another got 2.5. Both created and distributed/sold hundreds of pictures and videos that were actually pornographic. Its not surprising he only got such a low sentence, people should be happy he even got 6

No country wants to keep a fucker like this around on the taxpayer's dime, so I get it and basically knew it would go down like this.
He's still basically wasted several years of his life on what will amount to nothing, a good amount of that time in detention.

I'm kind of expecting this, tbh. During his time while still livestreaming from Hank's house, he was getting fewer and fewer watchers and donos, even by hatewatchers. He's pretty insignificant now to the Kick/Twitch/wtfever streaming audiences.
He'd have to pull some seriously audacious shit now to get money infamous again, and the consequences are coming faster and harder each time he does it, and the countries that will let him in are fewer and far more dangerous now.
Let's see him make a visit to Brazil, or Nigeria, or Laos and try to pull his usual shenanigans.
It's much more likely he just fades into obscurity.
He'll be in a foreigner prison.
It's not that they need to care about him entering their country again, they can just ban his ass and he likely will be once his sentence is up. The example that needs to be set is so the rest of the retards knock it off, that was the entire problem with Japan not being strict about the shit and wound up with a flood of retards who would show up, cause a mess for 1-2 weeks and then leave.
