Simple. There's a drop ship network that's already setup by a third party. Their model is to sell product to YouTubers looking to make a brand because someone had a connection. It's stupid easy to do and fairly brain dead to maintain orders. It's a completely hands off operation that only requires the advertising power that they already do. It also frees up their space from relying on ad revenue and makes them not beholden to marketing companies. Plus, it reaches a wider audience. Before this, it used to be drop shipped merch but not everyone wants to wear The Quartering t shirts because you look like a fucking sperg. Instead, everyone loves coffee and will purchase coffee. The other end of the coin is that it's consumable. Why would Tim Pool sell me one t shirt for a lifetime when he can sell me 10 bags of coffee over a year or two? By the time McCarthy started accusing everyone of being communists, most of the real spies had already been excised. Some of the accused were guilty, like Alger Hiss and especially Harry White. McCarthy was dead right about White, whose activities were confirmed after the Soviet archives opened up. He was also right that much of Hollywood had communist-leaning tendencies. That said, his comprehensive list of 200+ people was never produced or verified, and he eventually barked up the wrong tree with his famous accusations against the US Army, which backfired on him and the GOP spectacularly.

I haven't read his memoir but Chambers absolutely raped Hiss. For those who don't know: Whittaker Chambers accused Alger Hiss of being a communist, Hiss sued Chambers for slander, and then Chambers responded with the receipts. The statute of limitations for espionage ran out, but Hiss was convicted of perjury and his reputation was ruined. Chambers started out as a believer in communism and then defected. Liberals hate him because he had their fucking numbers.
