Leftists hate everything good in the world because it makes people right wing. Leftism does not make one happy. It makes you miserable. What joy it brings is fleeting. You can only take so much coke, you can only have so much casual sex, before all of that pleasure turns to pain. It turns into addiction, broken relationships, zero connections.
Why does leftism wish to destroy? Because they are miserable. Even those at the top are miserable. They are just rich enough for the misery not to actually matter. And so, they wish to take that misery out on the rest of the world, on the dumb and slow, and make them slaves to their passions, to be their foot soldiers.
Its why they are so anti religion, of all stripes. The ideal world for the leftist is a sterile world with no God, with that role filled by the state. Their ideal citizen is MovieBob, a husk that does as he's told and consumes blindly, from toys to ideas. They do not wish to appeal to the common man, they wish to mold the common man to their will.
Destroying the family is the ultimate step to accomplishing this goal. Once they do this, they destroy the one thing that can make even the most lowly of people happy. They will have their serfs at last. This is why the left hates life itself. They can't have joy, so no one else can. Thanks for listening to my ted talk.
