That was my other thought, besides all the abuse she did to it through constant infections. That's a very last resort effort with IC, though, since it isn't always effective. I will say she has an official ASPD and AUD diagnosis, but of course those aren't sexy so she never mentions them. She is medically fine.

Can you imagine finding out your beloved sister’s last gift, her kidneys, spent their final years being abused and starved by the ungrateful wretch who somehow got them? Sickening. It's somewhat amusing that her care team basically gave her carte blanche to off herself. And the idea of Aster being a suitable candidate for any kind of organ transplant is laughable. Transplant committees typically aren't fond of doling out organs to chronically homeless, obese, walking Petri dishes that won't take meds as directed.

Aster is pretty manic outside of the hospital, she posts incessantly but it's mostly uninteresting. I've been pretty busy the last couple days and don't want to spend my fleeting downtime grabbing shit from her blog right now but I will as soon as it's even a little more interesting.

In short, she had the tubing replaced, she's back on IV antibiotics (one of the few times I agree with Aster, I do not know why she was taken off of these while she has an open fistula,) she's supposedly getting more pain meds, her new expensive wheelchair is too big to use. I guess she was expecting that she would be more independent than she is capable of being, I don't know. I really think she just wanted more money.

No more talk of rent at her own place, now she's settled on living with her mom again after she leaves the nursing facility, and this time she will have her own room. There is almost no chance her mom is going to be able to care for her properly, in my opinion. I suspect there will be nurses involved, if Monique can even tolerate Aster in her home long enough to get fed up caring for her and not just immediately kick her out.

When she went to the ER for her tube change, the nursing facility moved someone else into her old room and allegedly tossed the food she had in the fridge. Aster thinks this is very unreasonable despite the fact that they couldn't have been sure how long she would be staying at the hospital, and these facilities are quite full and need the rooms. She's using the "they threw away my food!!" allegation as an excuse for strictly getting food delivered from now on. Fatass.

There is absolutely no way she will regularly attend for haemodialysis, 0% they'll find her suitable for at home peritoneal, won't take her meds, won't lose weight, won't go on a low sodium and potassium diet and lastly, her urethra just seems to be a permanently festering tube of bacterial so that rules it out too.

She's gonna be miserable until she dies.

I think #1 was actually caused by #4. She would regularly sleep for 20+ hours and the retention is the origin of the bladder issues.
