Passing the SAVE act would be great imo. More libs have their passport and documentation that would be required to vote than a majority of conservatives. But dont let any poor white nationalist know that.

I agree in so far as it would not solve “the problem”, but that’s only because “the problem” doesn’t exist.
I disagree because it blatantly feels like a poll tax. Especially for married women, most of whom have changed their name. I don’t have a passport, I can’t travel outside the country because I’m disabled - so I don’t need one, and the fee is much steeper than a driver’s license - which I do need. I also don’t have a birth certificate with my married name on it. I do have my marriage license, but I understand that is not sufficient to prove anything.
If the save act were to pass, and I were to attempt to re-register to vote I cannot prove I’m a citizen to the extent the law would require. Allegedly, I haven’t read the bill myself, so I could be mistaken. I just know a lot of feminist groups have been raising awareness about the claim I just made.
Personally, I believe the scenario above is the actual goal. The Republicans (and the bots on the Internet trying to convince men that it’s a bad idea; story as old as time) don’t want women to vote. Because women tend more toward the Democratic Party. They know getting the 19th amendment repealed is so unlikely as to virtually be impossible, but if they can make the hurdles a married woman has to jump through hard enough to be impractical for a large number of women? Same accomplishment, under the guise of “protecting the American election”.

Cynauric acid or stabilizer helps prevent chlorine from breaking down quickly even in shallow pools. Furthermore, a pool that smells is one that isn't properly sanitized. What you're smelling are chloramines which are formed when chlorine no longer is properly sanitizing the water. Never swim in a pool that has water you can smell.
You're right however that the current water source makes chlorination a poor sanitation choice. You would also need plumbing and circulation of the water amongst other things.
