South Africa Collapses - Another one bites the dust

March and March is a prominent citizen-led anti-illegal immigration movement in South Africa. Established as a grassroots group in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, the group has expanded its operations nationwide, calling for stricter border control, the mass deportation of undocumented foreign nationals, and economic opportunities reserved for South African citizens.

Core Agenda and Campaigns
  • The 30 June Deadline: The movement has thrust June 30 into the national spotlight as an ultimatum for all undocumented migrants to leave the country.
  • Media Briefings: The leadership held a major media briefing detailing their demands for immigration policy overhaul, including tighter visa controls and a halt to refugee processing.
  • National Action: Demonstrations and mobilisations have been organised across key cities, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, and Mbombela.
  • Gatekeeping Activities: The group initially gained major traction by stationing volunteers outside public healthcare facilities and primary schools in KwaZulu-Natal to check identification before granting entry.

Leadership and Political Alignment
The non-profit organisation is officially led by its founder, Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma. While the movement maintains that it is an independent, citizen-funded group, it has received strong political backing from the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party, which frequently aligns with its demonstrations.

Controversies and Backlash
The group faces significant public and state scrutiny:
  • Xenophobia Accusations: Critics, including human rights watchdogs and sociologists, argue that the group's rhetoric is violent, exclusionary, and stokes xenophobic sentiments.
  • Government Warnings: In response to the June 30 national shutdown plans, the government redirected R600 million toward security operations. State authorities have strongly warned that vigilante-style enforcement, threats, or carrying traditional weapons during protests will face zero tolerance.
  • Funding Questions: Despite leadership claims that it operates solely on domestic public donations, media reports and civil groups have continuously raised questions regarding the origin of its funding.

>>>>>>>>>>END OF AI SUMMARY

The above is an AI summary but it does get the gist of the movement. But to be clear they don't like any foreigners, legal or illegal. They just say "anti-illegal migration" so as not to be nailed by human right advocacy groups.

There have already been quite a few foreigners who have opted to leave before the 30 June deadline.

Is just funny to see africans complain about african migrants, in Africa. But it is to be expected, the tribal-level hatred they have for each other is intense.

It's so interesting to see the VAST difference in the way Africans go about voicing their objections to uncontrolled migration, compared to how Europeans (don't) do it.
These guys aren't shy at all, they've set a hard deadline and told the government that they need to act or else; they literally stand outside medical and educational institutions and demand ID before they let people enter. They have massive marches through city centres, waving traditional weapons.
It's simultaneously inspiring and embarrassing to watch.

It's also very interesting to see that the pushback they're getting is almost identical to the pushback that Europeans get for expressing anti-migration sentiments: accusations of racism and xenophobia; getting scolded for being greedy and not wanting to share their nation's wealth with the entire continent; and - of course - smarmy fuckwitted bollocks about how much the skanky migrants contribute to the vibrant tapestry (lol) of South African society.

I hope they triumph. God knows South Africa is fucked beyond belief even without parasites flooding over their borders.

The two people resting on The San Pablo on the roadside is something we won’t forget.
The leather beauty worth almost R70k was looted from Leather Gallery’s Springfield store.

Pictures of the couch went viral as the owners appealed for help in finding the couch.
The search ended on Quarry Road West Informal Settlement towards the end of the July.
The couch, which was restored, was so famous that it was put on tour, and people were allowed to take pictures with it.
It will soon go on auction.

It genuinely concerns me how blasé a
Sub-saharan africans treat this shit. If this is in generic shithole in most parts of the world the whole family would have their shit broken in. Communities are not held up by cops they are held up by the people. When you tolerate mass looting why should another nation care about fucking you over and steal from you?

TLDR: 2020 Best University ever for massive technology and everything, promised by Govt and president (nothing built) still not ever going to open.
OR: 2024 Afrikaans Massive University for everything, will open next year, focuses on needed skills. With even better facilities.
That would be perfect for the black guy sleeping meme. :story:
Black guy sleeping: Best South African university promised by South African government, we still waiting for this one.
Black guy wide awake: Afrikaans university opened.
