I'm late to the pool discussion, and maybe this is a retarded question- but is there a reason why they couldn't just treat it with chlorine or bleach the way swimming pools are?
I know water color is dependent on the color of the pool concrete, but pool coatings that don't peel and pool water that doesn't accumulate algae are already solved issues. Literally thousands/millions of large outdoor swimming pools exist that are under direct sunlight, look blue and don't have algae problems. It's cheap enough that homeowners and for-profit public pools can maintain them, so I honestly don't understand why the government couldn't just chlorinate it and get proper pool-grade coatings.
Not a good idea to drive multiple, heavy, armored cars across the coating before it can fully cure either. Because Trump decided this would be a good idea for some stupid reason.

It has a whopping 2.5k likes and she's an okay singer but isn't professional level and she certainly isn't at the level that you'd want her to be the marque singer at an event for the country's 250th anniversary or for a presidential event. And remember, this is a music video which means it was a studio recording, which involves autotune, editing, etc... so she certainly sounds much worse live

As someone who does sing, I can say she's good when compared to regular people but by professional standards, she's real bad. There are local musicians in every decent sized city and all over YouTube with a dozen subscribers who are way better than her. If you go to a karaoke bar on any given night, she'd be one of the better singers for sure but you'd hear at least several people who are better than her. The Simon Cowell question on American Idol was always "Would someone pay money to hear this person sing?" and the answer here is no. She has bad voice control, only one note that she sings which indicates that she has no range and her tone is nothing special
For example, I just went around YouTube and searched for amateur music covers. This woman has 1.36k subscribers, the video has 190 likes and has been around for 4 years. It's a much, much harder song to sing and she completely blows Alexis out of the water in every aspect.
EDIT: Another example, same song, this video has a whopping 36 likes and the woman has under 200 subscribers. Again, way better than Alexis and she does it while playing a guitar, too
