I don't often post on this thread because I don't have much to say other than some witty observation, but there's something I've noticed about the political discourse right now and I think it needs to be talked about more. It's perfectly illustrated here:

Leftist talking points are entirely negative now. They have no positive view of the future. It's no longer "diversity is our strength!" or "think of the yummy food the immigrants will bring!" It's now "we HAVE to allow infinity immigration and we CAN'T have deportations because... we just can't, ok?"
They can't directly defend their positions, because what they say they believe in isn't what they actually believe. Everything from open borders to "free" healthcare is just a means to achieve one of two things:
1. Dillute the White vote and replace them with a mass of third worlders who will keep them in power forever in exchange for free gibs.
or
2. Expand the welfare state to make the public even more dependent on them, all while they enable more fraud to enrich themselves off of.
And since they can't defend
those points, they just neg any other alternative to managed decline instead.
It's not just an online thing either. Most of my friends and colleagues are leftists or left-leaning and they're this way too. Whenever I hear them talk about politics, they never talk about the benefits of an expanded welfare system or increased immigration beyond repeating empty platitudes. It's just talk about how the orange man is an evil bad pedophile and all conservatives are stupid hicks.
I see it as a sign of a movement that is on its last legs and can no longer defend itself, and I can only hope it goes away as soon as possible and never comes back. All of leftism is conceived through spite and resentment towards Western civilization. and it's end result is a horrific mix between Kensington Avenue, South Africa, and the Soviet Union. It's antithetical to everything good in this world and frankly it's just not cool, man.
