Cole being Blackpilled and his conversation with Gwayne and then the Dragonseeds sitting around the smoldering fire with Ulf ranting are the best scenes of the episode.

Otto grudgingly admitting he respected Viserys and was the closest thing he had to a “friend” is probably the scene of the S2 and Rhys Ifans showing that drunken limey he may be but holy shit is he up there with Charles Dance in carrying mid material, same with Paddy in S1.The "my grandson is a fool" scene is absolutely top five acting scenes of the whole franchise, imo. From him calling the King a fool and the very end when he realizes his mistake. Masterclass of acting.
None of the women of the cast have done anything remotely similar. Cersei and Dany had their share of good scenes, but neither the alleged protagonists of the story have shown anything justifying being the protagonists.
it's a stage play, whatever, theaterfags are always doing retarded shit. and doing it for fun, more likely than not.I guess I'll post here because I can't find a thread (if there is one at all), but I think we need a master thread for all derivate works from GoT.
Anyway...

Half of the first dozen characters to have spoken lines in the first episode were niggers. You would think based on this episode that 80% of Westeros were spear chuckers. And they did the same thing as in earlier seasons where the camera lingers on any racial mongrel character for several seconds to make absolute sure that the viewers are aware of the representation....but doesn't justify making them all brown
What’s funny is they could have actually included a Bantu spear chucker in season 1 of GOT as there was an exiled prince from the summer isles that was trying to petition Robert Baratheon to lead a campaign there.Half of the first dozen characters to have spoken lines in the first episode were niggers. And then Cersei has the Kettleblacks accuse Margaery of being his BBC Slvt when the faith locks her up, pure HBO.What’s funny is they could have actually included a Bantu spear chucker in season 1 of GOT as there was an exiled prince from the summer isles that was trying to petition Robert Baratheon to lead a campaign there.
I will never forgive them for not including the Kettlebacks. Specially the part when Cersei wasn't sure which of them she slept with. To be fair, neither I am...And then Cersei has the Kettleblacks accuse Margaery of being his BBC Slvt when the faith locks her up, pure HBO.
It's so disappointing - Rhaenyra finding out that Aegon stole her crown should have been the most explosive moment of the show. In the book iirc she's cursing and screaming throughout Dragonstone while in labour (to an alleged demon baby) and vowing revenge, true crashout drama Queen style, but in the show she just weepily delivers a stillborn. Helaena/Blood and Cheese is supposed to be her begging for her children's lives and offering hers instead, instead they made her a turbo-autist unable to emote and she meekly offers a necklace instead of her own life. Even a lot of book Alicent's schemeing felt so dumbed down in S1, and now she's just a pawn again.None of the women of the cast have done anything remotely similar. It's amazing how much they talk about how they portray strong women and how the queen isn't supposed to be pretty, but they then believe thisIn the book iirc she's cursing and screaming throughout Dragonstone while in labour (to an alleged demon baby) and vowing revenge, true crashout drama Queen style, but in the show she just weepily delivers a stillborn.
I very much believe the writers will try to weasel out of Rhaenyra condemning her but we'll just have to see.im just really glad it seems were going to avoid seed planting for rhaneyra to believe Daemons sleeping with his own daughter as the reason she orders her executed for treason
and instead will just go with shes the reason her first born son is dead.
They actually had to cut the character Nettles because they didn't want yet another black teen actress.Half of the first dozen characters to have spoken lines in the first episode were niggers. I'm eagerly awaiting the disaster that is going to be Hugh Hammer. Who was yet another shitbag prick in Fire & Blood, but is an honorable fambly man in the show. I haven't watched the season premiere yet so I don't know if they did anything to plant the seeds for his heel turn. They'll probably keep him a Good Guy who gets betrayed by Ulf during the First Battle of Tumbleton, instead of him and Ulf both betraying Rhaenyra, and then both being killed by the Caltrops before the second battleHugh Hammer, and Ulf
Blood and Cheese was supposed to be the 'Red Wedding' of HOTD. Helaena, who is clearly written to be autistic, still should have been the focus of that scene as she struggled to pick which child to sacrifice. You can still do that in the context of an autistic person. This is the problem of Maelor not being involved; if she had to choose between outing Jaehaerys from his twin or Maelor, who, in the animated short was described as 'too young to understand what was happening', it would have been far more dramatic. They botched the entire thing.Helaena/Blood and Cheese is supposed to be her begging for her children's lives and offering hers instead, instead they made her a turbo-autist unable to emote and she meekly offers a necklace instead of her own life.

Not that Nettles is supposed to be black.
GRRM has been very consistent with making the distinction between brown dornishmen and Ghiscari and black Summer Islanders.
The fanbase also understood this until 2020 and all the BLM bullshit, with pre 2019 fanart of Nettles
