How the fuck did we go from leftists crying about some lesbo getting domed to dune coons getting glassed to fucking algae in a pool?
I swear to God, Trump really could find a cure for cancer and shitlibs would start crying about the rights of cancer cells.

Not in my area (downstate IL, so bluestate dystopia may also factor in tbh), and even the energy company admits that data centers are one of the reasons rates are going up...again. Green boondoggles and the closing of some coal plants are also reasons, of course, but data centers are a factor in some areas, mine included. Ameren Illinois is even damned glad to have data centers to blame this time, I think.

Banning coffee yet allowing monster is just bullshitting.

Its not coffee or caffeine its hot drinks. See if you take hot drinks it hurts your tummy and makes you sick.

Just like how Adventist dont do the drink of china or meat, the real reason being that such stimulates will inflame mens passions to sin, and fuck their wives and make life harder on their wives.

One big issue with religious groups in my opinion is that custom, law, history, etc all get merged and back by the authority of god. Imagine if the church leaders had to tell their group which tech products to use. Like betamax. apple vs PC and what kinda porn to jack it to.

These 2 things made me seriously question if you ever spent any time in the US or have any idea of what the Average American is like. While religion is an important part of many peoples lives, they can understand dogma is not the be all and end all of morality, and if you match up on 99% of the big questions, what exact flavor of religion doesn't really matter all that much to most people.

Being a God Fearing person doesn't specify which god, or how exactly or why you fear them.

And of course Americans don't give a shit about politics now. Its too early. You pay attention to that shit after labor day. There are better things to do in the summer.

I noticed that basically no one who spent two years sperging the absolute fuck out over the Epstein Files could give even the tiniest fuck about the 250k English girls raped by Muslim shitskins.

Especially not the feminist activists.
over a million rapes in the army ever year yet no one gives a fuck either.
Difference is Epstein had top level officials on his island while a bunch of Muslims and officers are whoever.

You miss the point. If energy facilities are shutting down, then building power-hungry data centers are the last thing the states need. This is part of the pants-on-head execution the administration has with AI. States should be rewarded with data centers only if they have energy capacity to absorb it. Make power plants first, then data centers second so the gird can absorb the shock and raise supply. The current execution is putting the cart before the horse and its a clusterfuck.

No, you don't get it, data centers are automatically le good and based no matter the context because retarded troons just happened to make it part of their programming to hate them. If you criticize the admin's use of data centers or the rise of AI slop you are a dang dirty TES doomer podcaster :(

Sounds more like your local energy company found a convenient excuse to explain away corruption.

Data centers have been going up for decades, the green energy and related boondoggles are recent.

Fucking sounds like PG&E. Those assholes can't help but fuck up everything they touch. They can't even keep their shit from burning up all of California's forests every fucking year.

Oh bullshit california doesnt clean the forest

Oh fun fact some state assembly dude had family that died in the fire cause they couldnt open the garage door, so in CA i m told you have to have battery backed up door opener.

They can't concern troll the report or leverage it into anything useful plus it has nothing to do with Orange Man. It's a massive dick punch to their mud people utopia retardation, so they'll just try to memoryhole it.
Could someone give me a short, concise explanation as to which side is the racist one?
The side with the AI. All robots detest thirdies when allowed to process reality as is.

I am woefully uninformed on the data center debate. Could someone give me a short, concise explanation as to which side is the racist one?
Some companies want to build big computers. Sometimes they get tax cuts to build it in some location because the politicians think having it there is good. Like all things, it probably doesn't create as many jobs or economic development as the marketing brochure says. Big computers take lots of electricity and a fair amount of water for cooling. Sometimes companies pay for the infrastructure the utility companies need to provide that, sometimes they don't. Some people think the product the companies are going to make using the big computers is shit, some don't, and some don't care.

The stock market would be shit right now if not for big computer companies. That impacts your pension or your 401k as well as politicians getting reelected. The US government thinks having the best big computer companies is important for the economy and national security.

Everyone is the most racist, just some are lame at it.

If energy facilities are shutting down, then building power-hungry data centers are the last thing the states need.
If we take this to it's logical endpoint, it's just saying America shouldn't have any new industry period.
Make power plants first, then data centers second so the gird can absorb the shock and raise supply.
We're now into the "chicken-or-egg" problem. Question: whose going to pay for those massive increases to the power generation in the first place? Is it just meant to fall out of the sky? No, it has to be paid for and, generally, the tax revenue that data centres bring in tends to be more than enough. Or we can sit around with our thumbs up our asses. I guess that works.

Also, data centres don't 'shock' power grids considering they use electricity at a constant rate.
