The Amazing Digital Circus - Western Isekai that probably will become Hazbin Hotel killer
I think the best approach if they want to continue the series / earn income would be to have an ATHF style continuation where everything is back to normal and nobody ever acknowledges what happened in the previous episodes ever and big funny happens.
Seriously, why do all these recent ‘adult comedy animations’ end up so lore heavy and continuous? A big part of comic animation is being able to torture/maim characters with no consequences.
you don't get it, he only liked tormenting women when he was an icky man!!!!! as soon as he has access to women and girls spaces he'll be healed on the inside and definitely wont give them a powerdrill lobotomy!!!
That's already what they're saying. Fucked if I'm gonna go looking for it again, but I saw one of them spout something like, "Jax is now one of the most triumphant examples of 'transitioning would have saved her' in all of media".
It's the same delusional justification they use for themselves. They can excuse all their past misdeeds away as their "deadselves". It's fucking cowardly. A man is supposed to wear his sins on his sleeve, baring himself to the world for judgement, but these fucking snakes would never have the strength of character for that. And they know it: that's why they disavow the "man" label. But that doesn't make them women. They don't get that slimy little escape hatch. They're just developmentally-stunted little boys--weak fucking children who couldn't pass muster and never grew up.
Turns out I love this retard show but I haven't seen the finale yet. Everything people hated Jax for before the finale was projection from intolerant children who cannot handle personalities that challenge them. Which is incredibly ironic, because Jax is the sole character in the show where every time a character would interact with Jax, they would end up growing so long as they met Jax where he was. Sometimes Kinger had a lesson to impart, but Jax is the only where he was universally an opportunity to grow for most of the cast, and an opportunity that most failed.
Ragatha's concerns about social cohesion and niceness ironically cause her to be far more the mean person she pretends Jax was ,because she created a status quo of "be just like us or you're the antagonist". Did Jax ever try to turn Tangle against Ragatha? No but Ragatha sure was pushing for Tangle to cut off Jax. Is this really an appropriate approach from the "good guys" because Jax could be a little bit of a troll?
This show was a perfect caricature of the shortcomings of overly sensitive & progressive friend-groups and the people who love it can't even see how much the TADC characters were limiting themselves and their ability to see other points of view by vilifying Jax.
And you might say but just wait til you see the finale! But like Zuble, whom Cain makes any body parts she would desire, yet is never happy, I do not think that Jax trooning and losing all the character traits that gave him the spirit of Jax, that gave him gravitas and weight, that made his perspective different from his peers; I do not think this sends the message Cooper intended.
Goose-nigger, or Troonworx, whichever you prefer, his writing may be stereotypically bad, if we were to hold it to account for it's vanities and shortcomings, but he's fucking OUR GUY when it comes it accidentally holding up a mirror to how backwards the progressive worldview is. He can't help but tell the truth.
Anyways I'll probably never watch the finale but good job Goose-nigger
I don't care if you took a self-insert shit with the movie tbh, that's what any real artist does when Hollywood gives him money
Looking back at that thread I posted a while where Caine's VA explained his thoughts on Jax, maybe he was onto something
I fully agree with him that the best way to interpret Jax is as a case study in how bad coping mechanisms only serve to hurt everyone and leave no real winner. Jax IS an asshole, he IS a jerk, he NEVER gets better, and NO we shouldn't just ignore all the horrible shit he did.
The rest of the cast, for all their own issues are good natured people. At best, the cast feels sorry for Jax, but don't actually forgive him for all the times he either did, or came close to causing them to abstract from his bad behavior, not because Jax is meant to be sympathetic, but just because the others don't have it in them to well and truly condemn him.
But then comes a certain issue... One that Alex doesn't acknowledge at all in his thread.
As much as I joke about it, as much as I laugh at others joking about it, and as much as I agree that Jax being trans was absolutely horrible in execution, I could actually see the potential of trans Jax being a very powerful statement on trans rep in media.
Name literally any fictional trans person in media. They're always one of the good guys. They always have some sympathetic backstory about their struggles with identity and discrimination and how you're meant to take their side. They're always portrayed as a near perfect human whose flaws are perfectly justified or completely negligible. Try as you might, you can't name a single fictional trans person who's an irredeemable, unlikable piece of shit, whose flaws have unjustifiably costed actual lives, and perhaps threatened even more. None, except for Jax here.
That's not to say Jax is a complete monster in the metaphorical sense, but all his flaws, all his toxicity are human. He's a person. He fucks up. He makes mistakes he can't take back. All he does is hurt others and himself, and that resulted in him becoming a monster in the literal sense. I think Jax could've been a great example of how trans people are... well, people. People mess up, and not in the Steven Universe sense of "Oh, you did something really bad. Let's talk about it and it'll all be better". Real, legitimate, unfixable, unforgivable mistakes.
The fact that this sentiment would've also come FROM a trans creator would give it more weight. Goose always talks about how he hates that the fandom keeps sucking his dick or whatever, and yeah, trans people shouldn't be put on a pedestal just because they're trans. They should be treated like any other person capable of doing as much good as they do harm.
But no. No, no, no, no, NOOOOOO, we live in the year 2026. The moment that Goose said Jax was trans, the community collectively forgave Jax for all the shit he did. All discussion of Jax being a garbage human being was drowned out by everyone soyJaxing about how heckin' valid he is for being trans. Every bad thing he ever did? The shit he said that lead to Ribbit abstracting? The constant toxicity towards the others in the circus despite the fact that causing them mental stress could've killed them? Nah, he was just being grumpy about not getting his estrogen.
Goose said it himself, a version of Jax that wasn't a huge piece of shit is a version of Jax that managed to fully transition. And that's how Jax being trans is perceived. Not as a statement about how trans people are just as flawed as anyone else, but as a statement about how unhatching eggs are toxic creatures that will magically become untouchable saints once they're able to crack.
Off topic to what you were saying, but this is what I mean in my post about Cooper telling the truth by accident. Jax trooning and losing all the qualities that make Jax who he is, is not the W wholesome chungus message Goosenigger thinks it is.
Oh wow you're a tranny now and you've artificially dropped all the things that made you "toxic"?
Well that's nice. Have fun being friends with Ragatha, who tried to get Tangle to hate you.

Rochon's had a pretty measured take on the whole thing so far. I like what he's said on the matter. He's even managed to get Goose to concede on letting people still refer to Jax as male if they want, which I'll give credit where it's due for. However...

A textbook response to trans representation and validation. It's frankly Pavlovian. Any critical thinking and rationale is thrown out the window once you tack on those pastels. This shortsighted fixation on immediate gratification (a common trend when it comes to them) doesn't assist them in thinking of the long-term consequences of their constant religious fetishization of their own existence. If they had any awareness of their actual situation, they would know that glorifying an abusive sexpest as a trans icon may not be the representation win they think it is. Considering the abusive sexpest is the creator's insert for negative traits that don't go away just because you start going on HRT, we'll see how it pans out for them.
I'm very eager to see further mental gymnastics from them.
It's baffling to me that misogynists want to be women at all, one would think that if you hated women you would thank God for being born a man and do everything possible to be as masculine as you could.

The Gooners are on sucide watch right now. Just like /co/ it becomes very obvious on their views.
Summary:
>Gooner Site features a photo.
>Gooners are disappointed that Jax is a tranny.
>Somehow devolves into a slapfight about Troons, Trump bad, Biden Bad.
I'd assume this would be a big W for gooners considering they sexualize trannies. Well this is funny. I am going to search Twitter and Bluesky next
I am pretty sure Zooble did. I like to think that Pomni was actually close to unabstracting Jax with her hug but Zooble shut that shit down right quick by pulling her out.
And the characters did too. Gangle couldn't find it in her to cry for Jax, but once we learn all about his tragic backstory, she cried for him and in an interview with the VA Gangle was supposed to wail in greif on that part. It feels a bit much having his main target for his bullying grieve his loss when he as shown no remorse for what he did to her. Not to mention the other characters adding him to a mural at the end next to his two friends that he caused to abstract. That is wildly inappropriate to do for a memorial unless the other characters did actually forgive him for his actions.

But trans Jax is still a degen though. Goose's explaining that the well adjusted male human Jax is actually just a "boymodded" tranny is just pure cope he added in ex post facto.

It's a humiliation fetish that they force everyone else to partake in. Remember it's not about being a woman it's about being "better" than women. They think that women are just dumb bimbos. They want to play the caricature of what a woman is. It's the same thing as wearing black face but for gender instead of race. It starts as "ironic". Oh look I'm wearing a dress isn't that so weird hahah! I'm just being ironic guys, wouldn't that be funny if I started dressing like a girl all the time haha. I'm just owning the joke winky face. They want you to laugh at them being they get off on it. They get off on humiliating themselves, they get off knowing how uncomfortable you are, they get off on being able to insult women right to their face. It hurts everybody and that corruption of innocence is the only thing that turns them on. It is actually demonic.
You can't just drop that on us and walk away. You can apologize by giving a detailed explanation on how the plot of Korekara Boku ga Shibuya-san is relevant to this thread. I am reading it right now and I don't really see how this fits in with the Clussy show discussion.

Transitioning means nothing in a world where everyone is sexless and isn't even physically "human." It would be so much better if they could discuss what being human means vs being a weird digital clone but that's not the story Goose wanted to tell in episode 9. Jax was just a fucking sperg who couldn't get his shit together because nobody in his small circle was able to tell him to fuck off. I guarantee you there are a lot of us out there that grew up in broken homes who had to finally find peace with their past. Jax had found friends in the circus and nobody knew who he was before the circus. But all the characters, given that they are "human", clocked him right away as a man because of the voice, height, low-hanging overalls. Go back to the dialogue from Ragatha in episode 3. That was the only time her and Gangle were able to tard wrangle him and we didn't even get to see it happen on the screen.
If you take troon ideology to its logical conclusion transitioning is meaningless anyways because there's nothing that concretely defines what a man or woman is in their system. However it does make troonery have no downsides whatsoever unlike in real life where biology gets in the way.

No idea, I stole this from one of the many thousands of /co/ threads. Presumably someone's name and that this was given to someone at a con/meetup very recently.
