Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

What is it with the IDF and hitting civilians anyway?

Like I understand that collateral is an inevitable part of war but the jews don't even fucking try
Muslims are notorious for using civilians as human shields and claiming that their dead fighters were really noncombatants. The number of civilian casualties is rather low when you take this into consideration.

IDF troops have entered the district of Nabatieh El-Faouqah, Nabatieh direction, southern Lebanon, with a Merkava tank burning in the background. It remains unconfirmed whether Israeli forces have successfully secured or consolidated their positions.

The current IDF offensive is an attempt to bypass/encircle Ali al-Taher, instead of approaching the heights head-on.

White House envoy Steve Witkoff is heading to Switzerland ahead of potential talks between the United States and Iran on a possible nuclear agreement.

Vice President JD Vance is expected to lead the U.S. delegation, with Jared Kushner also expected to participate if the talks proceed.

From what I see, I Iran's only goal is to survive.
Survival isn't a goal. Its a necessary prerequisite to having goals.

Iran's goals have been the destruction of Israel/The Great Satan, and the global ascendancy of Shiite Islam. Don't see those goals happening anymore than regime change in Tehran.

It's genuinely mindblowing how few people understand this very basic thing.

i just now got to thinking but does israel feel any effects from the strait being closed? or is this one of those instances where since israel is smaller they need less of everything overall compared to somewhere like the united states or canada for example.
Israel does not rely on gulf oil for any of their imported energy needs, their #1 oil guy is Azerbaijan.

the conclusion.
Where nobody really gets what they want.

Israel still exists
Iran still exists
JewSA still exists
The world spins anew

You've made your perception clear, that anything short of Iran's total and complete destruction is abject failure on our part because trump said regime change.

Meanwhile Iran has been declaring total war on the Israeli state and their American benefactors for decades, never getting any closer, only further and further away. But hey they managed to cling to life for another day so that's a win for them I guess. Its never been more over for me, my pride will never recover. Truly I have been humbled by the tenacious turk-roach. (If we're being honest. The Persians, much like the Romans, died out many centuries ago. Its nothing but different flavors of turk-roach now..)

Iran's goals are what Iran considers their goals.

I guess maybe they want to destroy Israel or so as the endgame, but right now, they just want to survive and they will do it by any means necessary, even if it means sacrificing their own leaders.

I could practically hear your teeth gritting as your typed this.

Come on bro 'You guess'?

but right now, they just want to survive and they will do it by any means necessary, even if it means sacrificing their own leaders.
You make it sound like it was up to them

Shit everyone wants to survive. I guess that makes us all winners

Here you go champ. You earned it.

Iran's win condition is the 12th imam returning from dimension C-197 to establish a global Shiite caliphate which would destroy israel an the USA. Since that didn't happen, Iran lost.

Come on bro 'You guess'?
I'm pretty sure Iran knows that destroying Israel outright it outside of their current scope of capabilities.

You make it sound like it was up to them
No? I'm just saying what they are doing given the circumstances.

The US's goal is to destroy Iran, Iran's goal is to simply not die.

These two countries have different win conditions for themselves.

Why are you talking about Iran like it's some kind of comic book supervillain?

If you tear up a weed and dont take out the root, you can claim you enacted total weed death all you want but it will still be back next week

Gonna ask a rhetorical question here:

Nigger, are you fucking retarded?

If our goal was to destroy Iran, this operation would’ve been over in two weeks. We have enough firepower to flatten Tehran ten times over, and that’s WITHOUT using nukes. The only reason we’re still there is because for some godforsaken reason Trump doesn’t want to destroy Iran.
