The only ‘anguish’ would be due to the general fall of the west that I see happening incrementally each day. I’ve got nothing against women in general, got an absolute run-of-the-mill nuclear family and that creates natural, deep worries for the future. I’m not going to deny the reality of what’s being done to both women and men, I can obviously just empathize with the male perspective more.

Overall I assume you probably think that your reputation and the reputation of your site is being unfairly tied to that of ‘incels’, and that site tourists who may do a brief skim will come across a not-insignificant-amount of incel content/language and that’ll continue to drive them away. I believe the site’s diminished growth is due to both the fact that it’s a very objectionable site (which is always going to inherently limit how large it can get) and that speech restrictions across the Internet as a whole have begun to loosen just enough to make the niche that KF fills feel less valuable.

Null is correct when saying that a lot of what the site used to offer exclusively is now available on X. I think he misses, with that observation, how much the site still offers that keeps people like me around. X may allow you to say nigger or make fun of trannies, but it’s still a modern, corporate social media behemoth. It’s still no place for people who are truly anti-globohomo and there’s no guarantee that any of the “freedoms” it offers now will still be there tomorrow because it’s run by a trillionaire with zero actual investment in maintaining its status as a place for “open” discussion. Null does not have that baggage. I truly believe he runs this site to the best of his ability and is thoroughly committed to keeping it worth using. That and an appreciation for the site culture and community is why I (and I assume many other) people choose to stay here even if growth is limited or we have issues with the way the site works. It’s not just because “Kiwi Farms lets me say nigger!”

In an attempt to circumvent the loss of users due to speech becoming less restrictive on other, bigger sites, Null has attempted to make spaces here for every community and I think the pressure he’s feeling is due to the fact that this is not a fix for the issue and never was. Moreover, the only thing it accomplishes is worsening user relations and making moderation harder as these different, opposing cultures (incels and TERFS) begin to clash.

I think you just have to accept that the site cannot grow indefinitely, and instead of fighting this uphill battle by trying to force it to keep growing, focus on optimizing and maintaining it for the community that’s already here and already invested.
