This site has, for a significantly longer period of time, also had a cemented public perception of being an evil harassment mob that murdered people. KF is always going to have an upper limit on its growth potential because it’s an objectionable site archiving things powerful people don’t want archived, run by a person who has been smeared by most of the Internet as a child pornographer for over a decade. There’s only so much you can do to attract new users. You’re fighting an uphill battle with the reputation of the site regardless of whether or not you allow the heckin’ feminazis, and for what it’s worth I think the approach you’ve taken up to this point has been largely successful and admirable.

For the record, I’m not trying to lecture you. I’ve only been on the site for less than five years and I have no personal monetary or reputational investment in its success or demise. I love this site, I like what you’ve done with it and I just don’t want to see it collapse because of retarded autists trying to force you to cater things to their whims by threat of “cutting off future growth.” You’re giving yourself a hard time, and I don’t think it’s entirely warranted.
