Strawman. Never said that. What I did say is that I was challenging the feminist narrative attempting to derail a thread about mocking trannies on social media.
That's true, but not for the reason that you predicted. I'm not the strawman that you hold in front of me. My ideas are much older, pre-modern even, than Gamergate, and you can critique me for being that and your critique wouldn't be a strawman.
Aaaaanyways, fine. I asked, and you haven't exactly said "no" but "you come across" as not ready yet. Moving on. I've had two or three trannies on social media to post in these past few years, and it doesn't really matter if frenz haven't gotten to share my laughter about them.
PS: I like you. I appreciate the work you do. I empathise your sadness to be in a no-win situation and feeling like everyone hates you. I'm 95% sure that six sevenths of the userbase would say something similar if they were also terminally online and thus aware of your situation. Touch grass.

I don't really mind one way or the other, but it's quite odd that a site dedicated to ridiculing online eccentrics would enable users to shield their profiles from vandalism and/or derisive comments. You should be able to take what you dish out.
Also, Lidl aside, I don't understand what prompted a segue into banal culture war sperging about misogyny and misandry, since the proposed change has little to do with gender relations. Any opinion which deviates from the grain here will make users more liable to get disagreeable content posted to their wall, whether that be about race, foreign policy, lolcows, or film.

What? No way, it’s so funny seeing people pop into chat to complain about how they can’t reply to the thread anymore and then getting to guess what they did to get banned from BP.
Speaking of chat, Lidl used to be in there, and it’s clear to me her whole reputation was based on being loud rather than extreme. She was some Belgioid who liked top 40 country music (and specifically male singers). Perhaps her penchant for getting on a soapbox about something and trying to shout it down wasn’t exactly in keeping with the KF spirit, but she didn’t have special protections. If you’re mad she triggered you and walked away unscathed, you’re just going to have to come to terms with the fact that you’re a worse user than a bunch of retards spamming watamelons (many of whom are now red strikethroughed).
