I first became aware of Nick because of Maddox’s ridiculous lolsuit against Dax Herrera and was pretty entertained by the fallout. (I had never listened to TBPITU and thought Maddox was a dumb fag with awful opinions, but was also disgusted by Dax based on personal knowledge of some very fucked up shit he’s done to people over the years in his offline life.)
I solely followed the case updates via the TDS subreddit and KF. In both places Nick was treated as an undisputed legal expert as soon as he started posting on Reddit and calling in to TDS about it. As someone who wished both Dax and Maddox could lose, it was pretty frustrating to see anyone dismissed and ridiculed who tried to point out deficiencies in Nick’s/Dax’s assertions. Such people would be accused of being a Maddox ballwasher or even Maddox himself. It was embarrassing for KF (I already knew Reddit was gay).

TL;DR: Nick didn't build the foundation of a legal career and even the "small law firm" claim is an exaggeration. Until he provides a law school graduation date and an explanation, he failed the bar. And he bought a house, had kids, and survived extended periods of unemployment because of inter generational wealth as opposed to skill or grit.
He took law school as seriously as he did his first year of university--where he self-admittedly stayed in his room and played EverQuest non-stop instead of attending lecture, readings, or recitation. He also took night classes and reportedly worked full-time--despite not needing to. I am sure if he had shown the slightest interest, scintilla of motivation, or drive to succeed, he could have had his parents foot the bill for his family while he externed or clerked somewhere.
I really am interested how that interaction with Schneider really happened. It seemed like a leg up was being offered, but Nick felt he was above starting work at the bottom.

We know what Rackets was like when he entered early adulthood but I am quite curious about his upbringing and how much of his personality is him being a bad seed vs a combination of enabling parents and whatever darkness lies behind Mommy Celeste's crazy eyes. I'd guess his mom always sang his praises when he was growing up. Nick was probably the golden child who could do no wrong. His family becoming wealthy probably got him even more up his own ass, and then the youtube "career" came with even more people singing his praises. I think before he gave himself permanent brain damage, Nick was just an actual autist who was too stupid and full of himself to realize he didn't make it on his own merits. Then Aaron and drugs broke him, but if he just ruins Aaron's life enough then everybody will love him and tell him he's smart and handsome and funny again.
