Lol all the local political ads playing on broadcast tv around here are hilarious.

I like this one in particular:

Also a local woke candidate for the state senate is getting called out by his mother-in-law on the local news:

Apparently Bobby Lepin made some nude guitar vids during covid.

He's running up against the President of Maryland's State Senate.

They're both Democrats, but the incumbent, Bill Ferguson is a much milder Democrat. For example, in response to our governor trying to push gerrymandering in response to Trump, Bill Ferguson refused to let it pass the Senate. (Probably not because he's such a fair minded guy, but more likely that it's a huge gamble because they risk it getting challenged in court and getting Maryland's whole congressional map thrown out.)

Bobby Lepin is trying to be... idk, what's the urban / east coast dockworker equivalent of a hicklib? Like a blue collar, union guy who's desperate to show how woke and progressive he is? Like Bill Burr?

There will never be enough context for this to make sens
The only context you need is

Barron: "Dad, let me post this picture of you as Naruto"
Trump: "Wha?? Whats a Naruto?"
Barron: "Don't worry about it. It's funny and will make people mad"
Trump: "You're a good boy. The best boy. Everyone always tells me I raised the BEST bo-"
Barron: "Its posted. Thanks Dad."

*Farts and skips away in his loafers*

What he is saying would have been true if you extrapolated the supply issues out and didn't think that companies were reformulating around the shortages.
Did we really that quickly reformulate and get it into the supply chain with no major disruptions? Are you talking about just the weird niche ultra lights that his predicted shortage were being extrapolate from, or were the more common blends(iirc just two, I think 0/5W20 and 5W35) that Costco stocks also having supply issues.

Either way it sounds like we were forced to fix a foreign supply reliance with domestic production, sounds like it's time to peel off another "Got what I voted for award" sticker.

It is the common blends right now being focused on for targeting. A whole lot of ester being put in to cover the PAO shortfall, and yes it's domestic production being forced to replace foreign chemicals.
Ultralights haven't really received attention here and can still have issues.

Never stand between a multinational and profit.

It's so interesting how the whole X/Rumble ecosystem creates a false sense of reality to the point where political campaigns are run based off appealing to people who are not assured to be real or even exist in the local electorate.

Wouldn't it more be X/Youtube ecosystem since youtube has 1000x more viewers then rumble?
