Reckless Ben (Youtuber: Ben Schneider) vs Bricks and Minifigs and CEO Ammon McNeff - $200k in stolen LEGO - SWATTING by Mormon Police - Mexico arrest Avoidance - Major Lawsuits (Civil RICO)
I've enjoyed Ben's videos and I'm happy Mormons are getting flack. That being said I don't think all of Ben's claims are as truthful as he's making them out to be. I found this guy talking about some of the questionable parts. Like how in his first serving he did it wrong by giving the papers to the employees. When the judge looked at the case he declined Ben's default judgment on this ground. The parties involved didn't respond because they weren't proper served and had no legal obligation to do so.
So no Ben didn't win the Lawsuit. I'm not defending the cultist fork police, but this does recontexualize some of the interactions. Also in the leaked police footage Ben's friends spoke as if they won the case. This makes me wonder if Ben mislead some of the people who were helping him.
Edit
So the conflict with the Fork police happened in March 8-12. And the judge dismissed the case April 7th.
Both part 1&2 were posted by Ben on May 21st.
This shifts my opinion to that Ben honestly thought he was in the winning stretch of the lawsuit. Fork police's actions are back to being baffling. Though Ben did have the power of hindsight considering he knew what actually happened with his case by the time both part 1 and 2 came out. Ben definitely was deceptive with the videos themselves as he knew at the time of posting that they hadn't won. They just mistakenly thought they were about to win.
I don't think Scott Shafer is covering this because he wants to expose the truth. There are several legitimate criticisms that I think deserve to be levelled at Ben. Him using a stock photo to show his "dislocated shoulder" is very deceptive. And yes, what Ben did, some of Ben's actions, such as the UPS driver stunt, can be considered Stalking/Harassment. Still doesn't justify Josh and the Police being schizo at every teenager that passes by his house. But that argument is valid, yet I don't see him bring it up.
A lot of points that he brought up are what I already see Lawtube has covered. For example, Leonard French covers a lot of these cases in detail, such as how Amanda's contract is not enforceable. I find it hard to believe that a self-proclaimed internet investigator failed to find people pointing that out when most LawTubers mention how that contract was not enforceable. And probably was done for entertainment. (And yes, you can criticise his conduct for that.)
Honestly, I feel this was Scott Shafer trying to be opportunistic and attack Ben because he knew it would get engagement in the comment. In fact, he welcomed it by openly challenging it in the video. This feels less like a well-researched video in order to expose the truth, and more like Dollar Store Coffeezilla tries to attack Ben because he knows being a contrarian will get clicks and views.
Because I do think if people really want to dig into Reckless Ben's questionable behaviour that could harm the case against BAM, there is plenty, and Scott's video feels like a half-ass video to get engagement rather than anything substantial.

So the last 2 days of bodycams was leaked (Ben & Crew arrested for "mean gofundme" and swatting over Legos) Heroin stop etc. 2 days prior Are still lost-media. (POSSIBLY UP ON "BAM SUCKS"-channel on Youtube)
Los Angeles police is also colluding with American Fork to get Ben arrested for "death threats ("Ben told Amanda he will come and KILL HER, please arrest!"), constant bomb threats" and so on.
Basically shit Josh and the Mormon Mafia can think of to get him jailed without bail.
One thing I did think was a bit sus was the class action claim thing. Idk how america works, but the fact they all got together and filmed themselves basically orchestrating a class action lawsuit seemed a bit like it would bite them in the arse later, is that relevant?
Ammon is still an asshole
or whatever his stupid name spelled out
Joshua was just a retard and a sacrificial lamb
which served its purpose
he might even thought that the lego actually belongs to them just because his boss said so
it does not matter at this point if they have "Parted Ways" with BAM they allegedly submitted false reports to the police lol, at this point I think it's safe to say this is not just about the legos anymore.
It really does because the rot in that state goes to the very core.
I can't stress this enough. Not only do the Mormons control everything in Utah, but so do their even more fucked up off shoots like the Kingston Clan, and FLDS.
For those that don't know, those two groups openly practice child marriage, incest, and polygamy, and yet have free reign to run their own banks, law enforcements, schools, etc. I'm not kidding.
They get away with all this because they're in Utah, and Mormon, and as we've seen in this very thread, being a Mormon is all you gotta do for other Mormons to go above and beyond to defend you.
[Link] [Link][Link][Link][Link] If the new owners acknowledge that the goods are consigned (i.e., not theirs outright) but still refuse to return the remaining items or remit your share of proceeds, you have a strong civil claim against them personally. This is no longer just a UCC priority issue — their admission strengthens your case for breach of consignment, conversion (wrongful exercise of dominion over your property), and replevin (recovery of the specific goods).
Under Oregon Law (No UCC-1 Filed)
UCC § 9-319 (ORS 79.0319) still protects their creditors and ordinary-course buyers — the new owners are deemed to have full rights/title against those third parties.
As between you and the new owners, their knowledge + acknowledgment means they cannot easily treat the goods as their own without liability. Continuing to sell or withhold them despite knowing the consignment arrangement can constitute conversion.
Demand Letter (First Step)
Send a formal written demand (ideally via attorney) requiring:
Immediate return of all remaining consigned goods.
Full accounting of items sold before and after the ownership change.
Payment of your share of proceeds from sold items.
Set a short deadline (e.g., 10–14 days).
Replevin / Action to Recover Personal Property
You can file a lawsuit specifically to recover the goods themselves (not just money). In Oregon, this is typically filed in Circuit Court (not always small claims for replevin).
If the total value is $10,000 or less, small claims in Marion County may handle a claim for money or return of personal property.
For higher values or complex issues, go to Marion County Circuit Court.
Conversion Claim
You can seek damages equal to the value of the goods (or your share of proceeds) plus potentially other losses. Statute of limitations is generally 6 years, and Oregon applies a discovery rule.
Now I'm sure if his attorney at the time new of these sections on Conversion knowing damn well the RING footage was enough to show Corporate on Phone and Brandon Best said they knew and take on. Then a letter should have been sent out that states a cease and desist.
This is all going to go back to someone not following Oregon's law carefully.
I was wondering where I'd heard Scott Shafer's name before. He did an 'expose' on Caleb Hammer last year, and his complaints basically boiled down to Caleb played audio from a paywalled onlyfans video on an episode, makes edgy jokes, is mean to his guests, and had a payday loan sponsor. In that video, Shafer came off as a whiny little faggot who is jealous of the success of other youtubers and tries to build his channel by punching up at them. I assume his Reckless Ben video is the same. Find some legitimate criticisms, and then paint them out to be way worse than they actually are, to start a 'controversy'.
Typical. It's a dog-eats-dog world. Of course, BAM would abandon them and throw them to the wolves. Still do not talk about anything BAM said at face value. The story has changed so many times now that at this point, you cannot trust them to be a reliable narrator. Also, why do I have an inkling that everyone in this story, apart from the Mansell family, is the most innocent one? I have a suspicion that everyone here has a skeleton in the closet, and The Mansell is likely the only innocent victim in this story. Just a hunch and feel I had tho One that I'm not totally sure of yet.
No, actually, he needs to be because if he came out on attack again, Ben. It would set him out from the crowd. If he came out in support, he would be one of the voices with the crowd, and that doesn't set him apart by attacking Ben. Only people who are doing so are BAM and the Mormon mafia. By attacking Ben He set himself apart. His goal is to drum up controversy and put attention and a spotlight on himself by painting himself a target. His smug attitude goes to show he knows exactly what he is doing. The most obvious is how he put out a 1000$ bounty to bait people to engage him in the comment.
Ngl I fondly recall reckless ben from his shenanigans with the flat earth society, and selling a fake Banksy painting just to clown on modern art. He seems like a good kid.
He's a fucking art forger! AN ART FORGER! How does anyone trust this guy in any way whatsoever? This guy is a habitual liar! Am I taking crazy pills? Why does anyone pay this liar any heed?

I want to move this thread out of PG but struggling where to put it. I am leaning towards Community Watch and can always move to Lolcow v Lolcow once formal litigation is filed.

He was on phone with Josh during the initial serving. He coincided to Josh's statements with the Officer. He didn't refute the claims Ben had tried to make threats against him, Josh and Brandon. So what this is doing, is making where instead of joint lawsuit of civil matter against BAM, Ben is going to have to file against BAM, Ammon, Josh, Brandon, AFPD, LAPD, Sandy PD, Pravo PD separately.

I'll be cleaning up OP to make it more condensed with parties, suits and etc over weekend. Formal litigation was filed against ben at 333 pages, so it's community watch till we see actual court with Ben and the asshats in front of Judge.

He is clowning on you. He is a confidence man who has conned you. You have been conned. There's a quote about how it's easier to fool someone (you) than to convince him that he has been fooled (still you).
