From my Protestant circles, it is basically a fact that Orthodoxy and islam is "protected/expressed" but if you are a Protestant in Russia it is nearly impossible to profess your faith due to Protestant churches not getting recognized by state (thus being illegal) or getting discriminated against. Christianity in Russia is limited to state owned entities.
