Nick 100% blaming the other party is just him playing word games in court, before he's in court. It may be he's the only one whose car was damaged, or both vehicles could be totalled after Nick t-boned them. He wouldn't own up to responsibility ever, but especially not when he thinks his stupid magic words can win the case for him.

I just clicked the link I posted and it works for me, weird. Try https://app.dps.mn.gov/MSPMedia2/ and then click "current incidents". The last accident listed is from 8:25 PM and nothing listed for the last week involves Rekieta. There was a single car ford mustang accident I was hopeful about but it isn't Nick, unfortunately. It's doubtful MSP responded, and this site is only MSP, but I'll keep checking throughout the day anyway.

My dad once got into an accident that was not his fault at all and you know what? The day it happened he wouldn’t stfu about it and to this day he won’t shut up about it.
I don’t believe that Nick of all people would now take time to be all somber and stoic as someone’s who’s low paying job it is to talk and be entertaining.

Just to note, we don't know where the incident happened, so these could be irrelevant. I tried searching for the name Rekieta with MSP ( https://app.dps.mn.gov/MSPMedia2/IncidentSearch ) and nothing turned up recently. As you say, that would only happen if the state patrol was involved. They have incidents as recent as 8:30pm yesterday.
If it happened in Wilmar, it may not even hit the county facebook page. Or Nick could have been driving to their favorite restaurant in Rockville or St. Cloud.
Or Nick could just be lying. Odd there's no photos.
Another avenue to check is local radio stations. St Cloud is all over accidents but the stations in Kandiyohi seem not to post as many.

All I know is, he won't be able to help himself and will end up giving more details that will allow I or someone else to do a FOIA for information. Might even be a 911 call. Unless they treat those calls like they police body cam.

They just need probable cause of impairment. Its not a high standard to meet. If he has been drinking, its somewhat easy. If its a stimulant, they will look at the eyes. Stimulants will get complicated to catch him with because of his prescriptions for them.
But that said, its unlikely that they would test him unless he was really messed up.
The biggest risk for him would be if he was not carrying any liability insurance. But I think mom and dad would step in to fix things if that happened.
